Born in Persia and residing in Germany since 2009, he wears many hats - a DJ, philosopher, and a swimming instructor for kids. But it's his love for music that ignites his passion and propels his drive to create unforgettable musical journeys for his audience.
In September 2016, Universali played his first official gig, and it was a pivotal moment that sparked the beginning of his musical career. Since then, he has played in various clubs and festivals across Germany and other countries. Sali is not just a DJ, he is someone who understands the importance of creating an unforgettable experience for those who come to listen to him, offering them the gift of a powerful dance.
His music is a reflective journey through sub-genres that seamlessly blend together, creating a sonic adventure that runs like a golden thread through the night.

[HARMONY021]— Harmony marches eastward with its 21st EP, reconnecting with its roots through a collaboration with Kohra and Monophonik. While firmly grounded in the label’s deep-techno foundations, this release leans into a sharper focus on functional, dance oriented grooves and basslines.

A-side is opening with weight and intent, shedding the EP’s melancholic hues for something darker and more forceful. The gently broken spirit of “Uyire” follows, gliding between drones and gated vocals, stitched together by tactile percussion and an underlying volatility.

“Wavefolding Dreams” lives up to its name—wickedly modulated waveforms rise from a slapping bassline that pour like upside-down rain, finally dissolving into soothing, dreamy pads.

“Eastern Timbers” starts B-side with a deep, driving momentum. Trancey basslines and swinging arpeggios ebb and flow with tidal pads, wrapping the EP in a hypnotic finish that pulses with forward energy.

Decompress with “Neuroresonance” situated on the inner ring of the B-side. Suspenseful sliding drones in a wide stereo field and a sustained chord that breathes nostalgia, covered by a playful filter in motion.

Sali was born in March 1995 in Teheran, Iran. He grew up n the north-western part of Tehran with his twin. His father was one of the first Iranian initiatives in im-/exports of orient-carpets. with 14, he left the beloved fatherland moving to Hamburg, Germany. After he finished the high school, he started studying media systems and beside it he found his interests and inner flowes in electronic music with rebeat music and with 17 he got to know the electronic scene in hamburg. based on his collected experiences and showing his clear intentions to represent a different type of sound from techno - called dark melodic techno - he could find the way to let this dream come true. 
the encounter with Julez Cordoba, one of the known electronic djs of Hamburg was the launch to his music career and with 21 he played his first gig in of the most famous clubs in Hamburg named Baalsaal.
