The title track contains a solid and straight groove, with some vocals from the chief of the tribe, ideal spell for dance rituals , having interpretations by Überhaupt & Außerdem and Jean Vayat, then the song Amaterasu, brings the power of the goddess of the sun in Japanese mythology, along with this strong mantra the versions of Eternal Moment, Emorine and Zuma Dionys. Coming from Quebec (Canada) originally, it’s not really surprising that Mi/Nu grew up in ice hockey arena’s. It is however quite unique that Mi/Nu’s first job ever - at the age of 12 - was becoming a disc jockey at the ice hockey. Apparently it was already plain as day for everybody that she was born to be a DJ, as later she realised that they created that job especially for her. Always busy burning her own CD’s and taking it so damn seriously, it was probably long written in the stars that the sporty ice hockey arena’s would soon be swopped with sweaty dance floors.

  Mi/Nu now resides in California and is thrilled to be involved as one of the resident DJ’s and part-organizer of the PORTALS event series in Nevada City. Always attracted to a deeper sound, Mi/Nu has a groovy way of blending dark tones with a psychedelic twist. Playing with music still gives her that same feeling of joy she had when she was little. It makes her connect with people differently. Considered to be a super extravert person normally - behind the decks she is quiet and totally in her zone. It's her bubble of pure bliss. 

Tracks can be like little souvenirs. They often represent a certain moment or memory and by listening to them again later they can take you back to that moment, bringing back a certain place and emotion or a magic dance floor. We hope that this full fire mix crafted with a lot of love can create new memories for you and by all means please keep this special mix as your souvenir :)

DHAthens Premiere: Pimp Pandas - Gonna Be Right (funkenschleuder Touch) [Hug Records]

Time passes, and the people of Ukraine continue to suffer from the Russian war of aggression. We feel obliged not to watch this cruelty wordlessly and idly. The senseless violence emanating from Russia is condemned by us in the strongest possible terms.

With Pieces for Peace we want to show that we as a community are aware of the people in Ukraine and that their suffering is not unseen. But from this we also want to be able to contribute to the relief efforts. In order to use it efficiently, all the proceeds of the campaign will be donated to the International Committee of the Red Cross, which is tirelessly at work, whether in the humanitarian or diplomatic field.

The compilation will only be available for two weeks. After that, all collected proceeds from it will be donated to the ICRC.

All artists are offering their contribution to this EP without any financial compensation.
We sincerely thank all the participating artists and all those who contribute with their support.
