A revered techno icon with 25 years DJing experience under her belt, Monika Kruse holds a special place in the hearts and minds of electronic music lovers worldwide. On the back of last year’s stunning collaborative EP ‘Colours’, she rejoins Pig&Dan to craft a dynamic trio of tracks that have been igniting her sets in recent months.

“When I first met Pig and Dan a long time ago, we just clicked from the first moment. It felt like I’d found my brothers! It’s been a really happy experience working with them over the last two years. We wanted to show our variety with this EP; ‘Sensation’ is a funky uplifting track and already got a lot of feedback when I played it at the Mixmag Lab, ‘Oblivion’ shows our love of a heavy bassline and ‘Boogie Man’ is for the trippy techno moments.” – Monika Kruse

Pig&Dan’s return to Terminal M continues a busy 2016 for the pair, who released their fourth album ‘Modular Baptism’ earlier this year.

ana wares’ debut release “Saturn Return EP” is a mix of influences from a multitude of genres spanning classical to blues and dance, and can best be described as ‘Techno Electronica’.

“Saturn Return”, written at the time of the artist’s own Saturn Return builds gradually, new layers of percussion entering almost every 8 bars until it’s almost overflowing, somewhat reminiscent of the chaotic mess of thoughts of higher purpose and direction that arise during this astrological milestone. A district rhythmic theme repeats through the various tuned percussion instruments and drives the story from beginning, to climax and release.

When I was selecting tracks for my essential mix Clint send me his newest productions. I immediatly fell in love with the tracks and included one in my mix and signed the two tracks for Terminal M. I am also superhappy about the great remix of Timmo which gives the track a special soulful techno feeling! (Monika Kruse)

Clint Stewart - Breathe (Original)

Berlin based DJ and producer Monika Kruse joins forces with fellow techno innovators Pig&Dan to the deliver the ‘Get Me On’ EP, featuring the resounding and edgy title track.

Both veterans in the industry, Kruse and Pig&Dan have previously collaborated on quality material in the past, releasing the ‘Oblivion’ EP last year which included the standout gem ‘Satisfaction’. That tune landed on Mixmag’s top techno tracks of 2016, and the trio plan to make a bold statement with their latest collaboration.

‘Get Me On’ delivers the driving techno essence that’s ruling over dancefloors as of late, with booming bass, fluttering, melodic synth tones and chopped vocals. Kruse shared how the collaboration was a pleasure once again: “I’m always happy to spend time with my brothers in the studio because we have so much fun and it just flows. For me this is one of my most emotional production works over the past few years. Combining soul vocals with melodic techno is a pure expression of who I am as an artist.”

With a busy summer on the horizon, Kruse also announced she plans to showcase her first ever Monika Kruse & Friends party during Off Week in Barcelona on June 15.

The latest in our free download series comes from label artist Brian Cid. The NYC based producer is coming off his third project for us entitled 'Pluto'. Released earlier this year, the four track EP featured three organic, groovy and sonically distinctive creations, along with a magical 12 minute remix from Marvin & Guy. The project earned play and support from Tale Of Us, DJ Tennis, Roman Flügel, Adriatique, Ame, Damian Lazarus, Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, Gardens Of God and more; while reaching #1, #2 and #3 in Indie Dance, Electronica, Progressive House and Deep House respectively. 

As a thank you for the amazing support we're giving away one of Brian's most sought after, unreleased tracks entitled 'Welcome Them'. Long a staple of Brain's live shows; it's supernatural narrative has been a mood setter on his travels all throughout 2017, as he describes "This is the moment humans connect with intergalactic beings. A mellow fantasy of red lights, slowly pulsating while covered in fog between dark valleys. A joyful celebration for this long awaited encounter creates the backdrop for a beat that slowly swells into snare thunders and rolling bass. Since 2000, starting out of DkA, several side-projects such as 'Brussels Pony Club', 'Comute' or 'Kelket' have already been realized, highly appreciated, signed and finally released by various labels such as Lift Your Head Up, Blank Slate or Paranoid Dancer.
Beeing inspired by Hiphop-, 70’s Funk - and Jazz music, DkA tends to merge all these influences whilst maintaining a solid minimal tech and deep house feeling.
For several years now, the belgian producer DkA is traveling all over Europe in order to perform in clubs such as Watergate, The Zoo Channel, Kater Holzig, Sisyphos, Ritter Butzke, Prince Charles, Badaboum, Machine du Moulin Rouge, Fuse or Café d’Anvers.
