The fourth Applied Magic release comes courtesy of Komenda, two alluring Süßboys from the flatlands of the North German Plain.

All tracks are unique in their own little way, just like the minds that created them. A manifestation of the idea that art must constantly move forward, that there are still new ideas and uncharted territories out there. You just have to seek them out.

Tunno could be best described as the sound of a dying dial-up modem, sending stuttering morse code to the depths of interplanetary space. Reminiscent of 90s bleep sound, warped and filtered through a prism of contemporary, cutting edge dance music.Guaranteed goosebump material!

356 really has its own pulse. 5 to the floor, straight yet broken, an everchanging, perpetually repeating mantra that just sticks in your head and never leaves you again. An unlikely earworm if you just let it catch you.

French hypertalent INVŌKER's remix for Tunno takes the original and wraps it up in a warm and cozy blanket. Classic Detroit pads meet a colorful, almost Balearic sound design with the monochromatic, angular original melody still shining through, transporting it from outer space to outside - somewhere near the beach.

The whole package is topped off with an artwork by David Kochs, who is not only a singular producer and DJ but obviously a really good designer as well.

PREMIERE: DJ Abyss - You Make Me Lose Control

Sincopat proudly welcomes back home Rafael Cerato with a new powerful and outstanding EP, this time the french maestro is joining forces with Kinky Sound, TouchTalk and Aves Volare. 

The EP also includes a remix by the label Big Kahuna AFFKT to round out the perfect equation.
Propaganda Machine is the masterful beginning of this futuristic & cinematic tale, an intense sonic adventure with powerful basses and a superb vocal by Aves Volare as a hallmark. 
On the remix duties, AFFKT delivers a magnificent remix that perfectly captures the essence of the original but bringing it into his own sonic universe.
We continue with another timeless piece of music called Attack, this one along Kinky Sound. An intense musical journey with clear influences to the 90s electronica but with an eye to the future in its forms.

And last but not least we have 9 0 9 , where Rafael Cerato joins forces with another talented team from Brazil called TouchTalk to deliver another bomb, pulsating percussive synths and effected vocals to close the EP in a magnificent way.

The story of Same Mind begins with the first release by Yaroslav Kinsky, who brings us an atmospheric audio journey formed by 3 original tracks and a remix by Pablo Bolivar.
 
In recent years, Yaroslav has been exploring synthesizers and other electronic music hardware, focusing more on recording than releasing. Now it's time to bring ideas to life.
 
The A-side starts with the title track 'ALT' which stands for 'After Long Time'. The mysterious synth sounds over a groovy bassline make the listener sail above the clouds and get a bird's eye view of the beauty of nature. 'Enduro' continues the storyline with a dreamy atmosphere, warm synths and enigmatic vocals.
 
The B-side starts with trippy 'Moons' and definitely sounds and feels more dancefloor-oriented and while listening you could easily find yourself dancing in the middle of your room. The release ends with a dubby remix of ‘Moons’ by one half of Pulshar duo, Seven Villas founder and AvantRoots co-founder Pablo Bolivar, which goes in a more hypnotic but equally mysterious direction.

Sie zerrinnt sekündlich und man hat nie genug, dennoch ist sie unendlich... die Zeit. Sie wird einem gegeben und genommen, dreht sich im Kreis und läuft doch immer vorwärts, ist im selben Moment unerträglich lang und dennoch verfliegt viel zu schnell. Sie bestimmt unser Leben und ist doch ein mysteriöses Ding.
Viele Eigenschaften der Zeit treffen auch auf unsere neue EP „Mystery“ zu. Von dieser EP kann man auch nicht genug bekommen und die Tracks scheinen im ersten Moment sehr lang zu sein. Vor allem der Original Mix vom Düsseldorfer Tim Kollberg nimmt sich Zeit, um die Intensität behutsam aufzubauen und beständig steigen zu lassen. Dennoch ist der Hörgenuss gefühlt zu schnell wieder vorbei, da die einzelnen Elemente perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt sind und es im Arrangement ständig etwas Neues zu entdecken gibt.

Hailing from the sunny south of Spain, a historic cradle of vanguard artists, German Brigante native of Malaga makes his way on the basis of talent and effort. These two qualities, are linked directly in the results of what we hear if we attend carefully what German offer us. To this maxims, we must add a musical culture linked to 80-90’s pop and hip-hop that from early age have influenced German.

Talking in terms of talent German Brigante has achieved a distinctive and unmistakable sound easily recognizable, capable of making him stand out. We also want to emphasize effort, a quality that together with the innate talent that this artist has, becomes the sum that gives rise to the authenticity tangible in every of Brigante’s beats.

These qualities, polished in long studio journeys, plus the love that artist professes to the electro and break-beat sounds in the likes of Prodigy, are the ingredients that have helped to configure the sound palette of this producer. That is why top labels such as Dirtybird, Exploited or Diynamic have released the works of German Brigante. All of these tracks, composed with myriad of details placed in the right time at the ideal moment, received the support of artists such as Solomun or Dixon.

Moving forward with the productions that have marked the discography of this artist, we must highlight the icing in the cake, his album Bipolar. Released on Get Physical Music, this work is an exercise in maturity through the 10 songs that complete the LP.

At this point of career, German has reached a total freedom in terms of creation. The main result of this is his own record label, Manitox. A place conceived since its inception as the ideal platform, where not only is it shown in the most personal way possible, with productions such as 'Marimba'. This is also the place where he is giving the opportunity to newcomers to show their skills. Artists,  in addition to already established names, that we will surely hear about them in the future.

We can not overlook his figure behind the decks because we are in front of a DJ that has already visited the five continents. From USA to Australia, with stops in South Africa, in each of these performances he has made clear his unique style and his connection with the crowd. Among all the places he has visited, we can affirm with no hesitation that Argentina and Brazil have been the countries where he most connected to the audience.

About the release
Drunken footsteps lead across the wet pavement of the big city towards a nondescript steel door in some nondescript brick wall. Its rhythmic rattle is a Good Omen. Behind it, we encounter alien pleasures, a steadily morphing sequence of sensory input unfolding amidst the coloured lights between the speaker membranes and the surface of our consciousness. Bebetta and Los Cabra send us on a parabolic flight in the depth of their soundscape, bath us in an intense emotional flow with their hard and compelling groove, employ their tripped-out psychoacoustic tricks to defragment our minds and to subsequently rebuild them into something beautiful and new.

Dr Feel is an Afro House/Tech Dj and Producer, currently based in Johannesburg, South Africa.He has been part of the music industry since the late 2000s working with many up and coming artists from Bulawayo in Zimbabwe. His diversity, experience and talent allows him to create and produce any genre of music depending on the artist.

Dr. Feel, has shared the stage with some of the biggest artists in SA such as AKA,Oskido, Shimza, Dj Tira, Professor, the late HHP, Cassper Nyovest. Lulo Café, DJ Naves, DJ C-live, to name a few.

He has also been a resident DJ at Jack Friday’s in Moreleta Park, Niche in Rosebank, and Cubana Club. He previously has had his mixes featured at radio stations like TRU FM, SMU FM, Drums
Radio, Tshwane FM, Power FM and Radio 2000 to name a few. He’s also worked with “Last Hour Entertainment” a movie production which is set to release a dance film called “Go Gettaz”.

Through his charitable and activism work Dr. Feel has worked with an elderly shelter called “Lobelia Seniors Club from Cape Town and has also worked with Jack Fridays to collect clothing and care packages when Cyclone Idai hit many parts of Mozambique, Zimbabwe and
Malawi in 2019.

Dr Feel will soon need no introduction. With the amount of work that he is putting in and seemingly having the backing of one of South Africa’s’ biggest names in entertainment - Grammy Winning Artist Black Coffee; which proves this notion to be true.

"Two Moons" is an energetic dance floor track that describes a distant world where two different moons are visible in the night sky. In the music these moons are evoked by two opposing melodies that weave and glide like ancient Indian or Middle Eastern themes, using ethereal lead sounds. Structurally, the melodies are treated as two separate but related entities; first and second themes in succession, which are then developed over the course of this 9.5 minute dance floor journey.
