Abuk lands on Surrrealism with “Electrical Displacement EP”.

The young and talented Argentinian delivers 3 tracks of high voltage and great quality. SKALA and igor Bartyuk put the icing on the cake with 2 extraordinary remixes.

"Electrical Displacement" is the track that opens the storm. Like a gale, Abuk unloads all his fury and mastery from the very beginning. A dynamic and incessant rhythm accompanied by a melody that leads us towards aural pleasure and the desire to raise our arms.

"Badge" continues to administer volts to this current. The artist's skills are reflected in the combination of sounds and sensations through percussion and synthesizers. The tension and mystery are still present in this electric and electronic storm.

"Turn Off The Lights" is the final piece of Abuk's discourse. Far from ceasing in his energetic emulsion, he steps forward and accelerates the pace of each sonic beam. Creating a melancholy melody and escorted under a powerful bass drum, this is another emulsion of pure ecstasy. The storm never ends.

SKALA bursts into Surrrealism with her magnificent rendition of "Badge". The acclaimed German artist brings her special vision of creating and experiencing electronic music. A refined talent for squeezing every sound. The synthesizers roar with force to sign a cult track.

igor Bartyuk returns to the playing field where he feels comfortable. When it comes to storm and energy, igor is a headliner wherever he goes. Faithful to his sound that characterises him so much, searching through the deepest and darkest senses, he gives us a piece that puts the finishing touch to this powerful gale.

"Another special release on Chrom: the first EP of our own label manager Pedro Mercado since the pandemic started! With this old school acid inspired collab called "Our Revolution" together with Phi-Phi, a living legend in Belgium, Pedro realises one of his childhood dreams.

French DJ and producer Phi-Phi played a key role in developing and popularizing the progressive house sound during the 90's. You can for sure say that he is one of the pioneers and founders of the electronic scene in Belgium with lots of residencies in legendary Belgian clubs where he played together with DJ's like Paul van Dyk, John Digweed, Danny Howells, Anthony Pappa, Sasha, Laurent Garnier, Oliver Lieb,... Phi-Phi is known for his excellent DJ mixing skills and storytelling sets. Production wise his long-time cohort with Philippe Van Mullem (R.I.P.) resulted in projects such as, Honey C, UNA, Innertales and Quadran. Phi-Phi had also some collaborations with Gregory Dewindt (Greg D), The Mackenzie, Roddy Reynaert and Airwave. All the tunes became Belgian or even European club hits. Nowadays Phi-Phi is mainly teaming up with Manu Riga and producing for himself a proper sound of quality melodic progressive electronic music. So needless to say that we are more than happy that Phi-Phi teamed up with our own label manager Pedro Mercado for this special collab on Chrom.

The first remixer comes out of Italy: nobody less then Christian Monique who has releases on labels such as The Soundgarden, Black Hole Recordings, Balkan Connection,... and is supported by big artists such as Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Adriatique, Guy J, Petar Dundov, and many more. Christian turns the original into a true progressive house anthem."

Morttagua’s single “Telos” receives two wonderful revisions by Progressive greats Alex O’Rion and Lonya.

Released early last year, Telos had its magical melodies inspired by the tales of the ancient Lemurian city of light, home of higher consciousness living beings in the deep inside of “Hollow Earth”. 

Dutch progressive master Alex O’Rion debuts in Timeless Moment with a darker version of “Telos”, bringing strong bass grooves together with new harmonic synths that go perfectly together with the original riff melodies. A true timeless mastery for peak time euphoric moments. 

Israeli star Lonya is back to the label with a very deep and atmospheric version of Telos.  Lonya’s version incorporates new hypnotic arpeggios melodies, tight percussion work and deep grooves, perfect for that sunrise/sunset moment on the dance floor.
