Norwegian label ́Badabing Diskos ́ takes a step into the surrounding forests of Oslo for the upcoming compilation ́Oslo Botanics ́, befriending the organic sounds of house music.
This frst compilation EP presents a fresh bouquet of wildfowers with current connection to the Oslo underground scene. Although originating from quite different environments, ranging from the Norwegian mountains and Icelandic fjords, to the Colombian capital of Bogota, this group of herbalists seems to have a common interest for acid house, cowbells and dub effects.

On ́Stabburdans ́, the duo ́Anders Lyngen & Magnus JJ ́ starts of with a fungal groove that slowly bubbles from dubby swampland, firting with a slight rhythmic reference to the historic stiffness in norwegian dance traditions.

́Vogue Dip ́ brings an uplifting deephouse feel, driven forth by circulating acid loops and infectious rhythms, excellently produced by ́Duv Tales & Kim Young iLL ́.

́Casablanca 303 ́ makes well use of his skills in organic disco gardening, allthough never loosing sight of that classic house sound. ́When the swallows return ́ also shows off the producers melodic talent.
́Oslo Botanics #1 ́ plants a frst seed that leaves you full of expectations for the upcoming compilation.

Alejandro also known as Casablanca 303 (2014), is an artist from Bogotá based in Oslo. 

Casablanca 303 specializes in house and deep house music, in which he incorporates subtle elements of jazz, acid house, krautrock, disco and other electronic genres. His unique sound has earned him a reputation as an innovative and exciting artist.

He has proudly released music with his own label Cocuy Records (Colombia), Badabing Diskos, Mhost Likely, Lab Cleaning Jams (Norway) and recently on Soul Clap Records.Thus showcasing his creative vision and passion for music production.

In Colombia, he played in some of the country's most popular clubs, including Kaputt, Video Club, El Coq, Vlack, Octava, Baum and Armando Records. He has also performed in major festivals such as Estéreo Picnic, Kptl Sound and Storyland.

He had the pleasure sharing stage with Vitalic,The Glimmers, Alexi Delano, Huxley, Groove Armada, Solidisco, Anna, Felix Da Housecat, Christian Smith, Moonboots, Natchbraker, Felipe Gordon.

Now based in Norway, Casablanca 303 is making a name for himself in the local music scene. He has played in popular clubs such as Jæger, Riksscenen Oslo, The Villa, Dattera til Hagen, Skatten and Cafe Opera, presenting his unique blend of musical influences and captivating audiences with his dynamic dj sets.
As he continues to create and release music, he keeps pushing the boundaries of his genre.
