In the '00s, before Sound Avenue, I had a monthly set "Innovation' that you could download on my website. Recently, I was asked to become a regular podcast curator for Proton Radio's Spotify DJ Mixes. Because I already have a Sound Avenue radio show & podcast, I thought it was nice to relaunch the Innovation series because these Spotify DJ Mixes are innovative. The royalties generated from these mixes will be paid to all artists, labels, and DJ's involved.

Berlin based André Lodemann has been a DJ for more than 20 years.

In 2001 he started to produce music releasing 12-inches and remixes on Moods n Grooves, Simple Records, G-Stone, Room with a View, Z Records, Freerange, Buzzinfly, DFTD amongst others. His tunes ‘Where are you now?’ and ‘The Light’ became hugely popular with the worldwide underground DJ circuit. Other highlights include remixes for Tracey Thorn, Omar, Akabu, Phonique and Vakula to name a few. Citing his greatest influences as Masters at Work, Mateo and Matos, Kerri Chandler and François Kevorkian, Lodemann’s musical vision is to create atmosphere, arouse emotion and touch people musically.

They joined our Babylonian Nightsky Celebration in Amsterdam and played this stunning set at the Star Stage. The night closed out with lots of dancing underneath the glow of the planets with disco mirror performers hypnotizing us. What a night to remember!
