Wir freuen uns euch mit unserer Nummer 45 einen hochtalentierten Berliner vorstellen zu können. Mattmosphere ist nicht nur in Berlins Clublandschaft kein Unbekannter mehr, sondern konnte seine Online Anhänger schon durch zahlreiche Podcast wie zum Beispiel für Afterhour Sounds, Seasidetrip oder Gedankenklang begeistern. Und das ist nur ein Bruchteil von seinen Podcasts.

Wie und wann bist du zur Elektronischen Musik gekommen?
So richtig Klick gemacht im elektronischen Bereich hat es bei mir eigentlich als ich 2012 für ein Jahr in London gelebt habe. Dort habe ich mit dem DJ Ryan Crosson zusammen gelebt und von ihm das Auflegen gelernt sowie erste Warehouse-Raves etc. mit gemacht.

Welche Musikalischen Momente sind dir besonders in Erinnerung geblieben?
Da gab es ganz schön viele, aber einige Afterhour Sets von Sutsche bei Festivals sowie ein Set von Roman Flügel in der Panormama Bar vor 2 Jahren fallen mir jetzt auf Anhieb ein.

Wo konnte man dich bisher antreffen?
Überwiegend in der Berliner Clublandschaft - Sisyphos, Wilde Renate, Rummelsbucht, Mensch Meier, Ritter Butzke etc. , habe aber auch schon in Istanbul aufgelegt und anderen deutschen Städten.

Gibt es Zukunftspläne?
Wir wollen vor allem unser Label Drosssel weiter voran bringen, hier auch vermehrt Veranstaltungen planen und weiterhin schöne Releases heraus bringen. Als DJ will ich weiterhin meinen Kern an Leuten erreichen und mich stetig weiter entwickeln.
