Already a household name in Berlin, with gigs at Watergate, Sisyphos and more under her belt, Stil Vor Talent regular Deer Jade returns to production with new vigour on an exciting collaboration with Dominican producer Vander. His sound is distinctive yet diverse, dancing between Afro-Latin influences, synthwave and the darker side of disco which we can hear on releases via Pipe & Pochet, Discos Tabu and Klassified. 

‘Intergalactic Tango’ instantly teleports you to a dreamy destination with use of Mâhfoud’s exotic synth work and Moroccan sounding organ chords. Jade’s sensual vocals encourage you to keep exploring the sonic landscape of this daytime lounge record. Perfect for the warmer days and nights ahead. 

The package comes with two fantastic remixes, the first from Parisian duo Chambord, who take a bit more of a deeper approach to the track and creates an ethereal atmosphere. The gentle arp keeps the rhythm moving and pairs perfectly with the stripped back percussion.

The second from Pandhora who take the original on a more dancefloor focused approach. There is a distinct contrast between the deep / groovy bassline and the smoother, almost jazzy chord progression. Replacing the organ chords with funk guitar strums adds a subtle French flare to their edit.  The trio unleash a heavenly sound together. A unique release with deep squelchy bass combined with a striped back groove for a Latin-infused masterclass.

Valencia-based multi-instrumentalist, Dj & Producer @clemente_music teases us with 'Palo Santo', the second single taken from his upcoming album debut which will be released later this year via @piecesoflifeofc

First single from the project was 'Shesawa', a collaboration with rising Dj & producer Yamil that was released a few weeks ago and reached #9 on Beatport's Afro House charts. Now Clemente proves his versatility in the studio with a new solo production. 'Palo Santo' is a downtempo/organic cut designed for the dance floor, an immersive journey into a personal life story about compassion, equality and a homage to a free spiritual soul manifested through the prophecy of sound.

Clemente has committed his whole life to music. After spending his past years embracing numerous musical projects, he finally jumped into the electronic music, unifying his passion for synths and tribal sounds in an artistic audiovisual concept. Always loyal to the pure club sound, he conceives a magical blend of black soul, energy dance music and exotic shades. Clemente experiments with and cruises through every music genre in his own studio located near the Mediterranean coast of Valencia. Implementing into his tracks the sound of his piano, guitar, bass and percussions, with the philosophy of inspiring other souls with his music.

In a short period of time, he has signed his original music in some of the most acclaimed labels of the moment such as Monaberry, Madorasindahouse or Eklektisch, gaining heavy support from the likes of Grammy award winner Black Coffee, Andhim, Super Flu or Blondish.

Malaga native German Brigante has been serving up polished underground sounds on labels like MonaBerry and Dynamic for many years. His meticulous melodies find favour with the likes of Dixon and he runs his own Manitox label. Yamil, meanwhile, is a label regular with a rich and worldly style that often takes him to the top of digital charts as well as some of the world's finest clubs. Their superb new single features the voice and percussion of producer, singer and percussionist G.Zamora, who turns in one of his deepest performances. He sings about an inner journey where the mind is always analysing and trying to take the positives from life which in turn makes the earthly path more transcendental. 'Sigue Tu Camino' Feat. G.Zamora is a deeply hypnotic Afro-house cut with spiritual synths. The organic percussion peppers the supple drums and G.Zamora's vocal casts an almighty spell. It is the sort of life-enriching track that will form the highlight of any set, such is the realness of its emotions. The original has your inner waters move until you find the rhythm of the waves. The moon brings calmness; she is so delicate and yet profoundly strong. This essence is imprinted in this track, and it does wonders on the dance floor. 

The remix by Happy Camper honchos Noraj Cue & Unders take the silver planet inspiration to another level. Solid, straight, and mature is what their aim for on their remix tip, paying all its respect to the Moonalaya original.

The year was 1987, and the sun was setting down on the golden sands of Eastern Sierrra Leone, a small, but enthusiastic group of locals were gathering, high spirits and joyous laughter could be heard, and the assembled congregation began to express themselves through the divine coupling of dance and intoxicating drink.  At first the sound was distant, but as the cool evening breeze wafted in, the pulsating throb of drums and rhythmic percussion grew louder, crystalline melodies floated inwards, and the burgeoning crowd began to dance with vigor and vitality.  It was at this point that I was approached, almost caught unaware, as a porcelain figured girl, with long black hair, beauty like I had never seen before, came right up to me, her eyes wide and full of expectancy, drilling straight into my own pupils.  She held out her hand, so small it really dwarfed my own, and a small red pill rolled gently in the very dip of her palm.  Her lips un-pursed as she raised herself slightly onto tip toe, and whispered into my ear, “would you like to share this with me?”…….
