DB DaRealOne was born by da name of David Bell on Feb. 1, 1981. I was born and raised in Oakland, Ca. My dream as a young teen was to become a Professional Basketball Player. I can remember growing up with my cousins. We would team up and take on all comers on the hoop court. After chasing my dreams in Basketball. I always had a vision to get my family out of the hood. That was my main goal in life. But growing up in West Oakland, living in the projects where the entire community was infested with Drugs, Money, and Murders. As a young man,  I have witnessed the way of fast living. I was blinded by Hustlin' and fast money. I wanted everything I was seeing out in the streets. Such as the Money, Cars,  and Clothes etc. Me being my mothers only son, oldest child. I felt obligated to make my mother a proud single parent. I had to set an example for my two sisters. In 1999, I graduated from high school. After graduation I found a minimum wage job. I worked for a Matress company for approximately 5 months. One day I picked up my paycheck and realized I needed more money, it was not enough. So I cashed my checked and hit the street game Fulltime. With the dark nights and long days of Hustlin'. I felt a big difference in my pockets. After spending time in the streets. I started losing a lot of my friends. Day after day, month after month, and year after year, I saw my circle getting smaller. After losing my closest Potna as well as family members to the cruel streets. It made me realize that I was living a Dangerous Life. I ended up taking numerous trips to jail. Doing months & months of County time. After being incarcerated many times I had time to do some real thinking. It was time to make some life changes, if I planned on surviving. The last bid in jail,  I was surrounded by a lot of talented people whom showed me how to express my pain and struggle through music. I paid attention more to what was going on inside and outside my circle with the Drugs, Deaths, Love, and Loyalty. I learned how to create my own sounds using my life, style, and pain of my losses. That's what brings you DB DaRealOne C.E.O of Gas'Em'Up Ent. I do a lot of featuring and collabs. My first album will be fully completed by the beginning of Summer 2013.
