Gouranga’s popular Soundcloud channel has been a constant source of quality dance music over recent years. Their collaborations with the likes of Disco and House pioneers Todd Terje, Greg Wilson, Ray Mang, Rigopolar, Bill Brewster, JKriv and Dicky Trisco (to name a few) has established them as key tastemakers in the scene. They regularly pop up around the globe as curators and DJs and have been behind the programming of the Rabbit Hole Disco area at Glastonbury. Their recently launched label Gouranga Music takes things a step further, showcasing a range of electronic music that they are passionate about. Dombrance is a French DJ and producer who has been releasing selective, highly regarded work for almost 20 years gracing labels like Kitsune, Virgin Records and Yuksek’s Partfine. The single ‘Taubira’ appeared exclusively via Gouranga’s channel two years ago and now returns for a full release with a stellar set of remixes. The package opens with the hypnotic, arpeggiated excellence of the original before handing the reins to the assembled remix team. The mixes are bookended by two adaptations from new kid on the block Josh Ludlow who opens things with a powerful club edit with a deep, heady feel and closes out with a pumping 80’s Italo rework. Between these two variations, we have the ‘Clan Disko Dub’ from respected Slovenian producer Ichisan who teams up with the Gouranga Clan to go down a percussive & acidic route. Alongside this, Spain’s James Rod turns in an extended and intense revision that takes things into tripped out, late-night territory. At the centre of all this is the jewel in an already gleaming crown as Norwegian Cosmic God Prins Thomas takes the track down a psychedelic bass trip - stretched out over a blissful eleven minutes to create something truly timeless.

This set's approach is mainly minimal sounds and spacey grooves, with selections from one of the finest artists in the minimal scene. Our label boss @fez01, takes you on a hypnotic journey far away into the galaxies.

Born and raised in Pakistan, Fez started listening to electronic music at a very young age. Having been a music enthusiast for more than a decade, with a mature understanding of electronic music, he stumbled upon the Romanian sounds and never looked back. 
Artists who inspired his sounds include the likes of Microlab, Etzu Mahkayah, Janeret, Raresh, Priku and others alike.
He likes playing deep spacey grooves with killer basslines and rhythmic percussions  that make you move into higher dimensions of space and time. Having recently launched his own label, Fez works on introducing Minimal into the more commercialized scene of Pakistan.

The Italian powerhouse duo of Alex Dam & Zambiancki is next on the mix duties with 90 minutes of flawless rolling grooves. After having met each other in Amsterdam two years ago, they merged their musical paths after having felt an immediate connection, as both of them coming from different paths that later took them on the same road. Earlier last year they won the "Ebi Awon" remix contest, and since they haven't stopped crafting hi-octane tech-house and minimal rollers on labels like elrow Limited, Deeperfect, and TBX among others, with label-boss Yaya constantly testing out new hot material. The summer might be over but with this mix, you'll surely feel the summer breeze one last time... play it loud!
