I ended up showing a buddy of mine Alan Berven AKA Aloops your mix and the track list.. He has been heavily into this style of Drum and Bass for a few years.. He also has all of the tracks on your playlist and really liked your mix and how it was mixed... Kudos currently listening to my downloaded copy of it.. He wants to meet ya sometime and share tracks.. He has one of the biggest collections of this style and other styles of DNB in and just around this style.. probably over 3000 tracks.. "I was viewing this as a radio mix that can go in multiple directions as I don’t have the responsibility of holding a dance floor together in real time. I guess it’s a little cerebral at parts and goes on a bit of an intense journey, but I tried to hold it together by always bringing it back to ‘riding on bass’, and towards the end is sort of a coming home to warm cuddles. I wanted to just ‘go there’ with whatever I was feeling, covering a lot of bases, as a bit of a showcase of styles that I make and like. I hope I kept the journey connected in some way, while still pushing my mixes a bit by not going so straight forward. The mix also features a couple of my remixes and 6 artists that I work with releasing some of their music on Muti Music."

If you live on the West Coast and enjoy House Music, chances are you're aware of the infamous Gene Lee. Besides being a hometown hero DJ, he's also a master in the studio and is responsible for helping produce much of the electronic dance music coming out of Seattle today.. Known primarily for his signature Deep House and Nu-Disco sound, Gene has taken a new musical direction after being inspired by the deeper side of the Drum & Bass one early morning on the Playa.

Once back in the city, Gene wanted to capture that emotion he felt that morning at Burning Man and called on Seth aka Grym and Rob Noble to help record a studio mix called "The Hero's Journey" which first shaped this collective of musicians, DJ's, and artist that we have today, DEEP N BASS.

This is the 5th and final mix coming from our residents and we can't thank you enough for all the amazing support and love we've received! We'll be taking submissions for future releases, both mixes and original production. If you feel your music is inline with the DEEP N BASS sound, please send us a message. PsyDub, GlitchHop, post dubstep, deep-step, global beats, ethnic trap, space grime, world bass, neuro-funk, raga-bass, hard-wave, farmer-trap, trip garage, leftfield bass, hybrid breaks, ... you name it, if it slaps and it represents the globalized music community it can be part of our co-creation.

For this summer we'd like to bring everyone closer together. To gather the global community of artists, visionaries, thinkers, doers, ... to unify in consciousness and vibration that was has been divided and separated for so long by indoctrination and cultures of dominance and unbalance. 
We believe in the force of music as a unifier and expander of consciousness and we aim to steer away from discrimination, privilege, brand culture and other aspects by having a low threshold towards artists and creatives.
