Get Physical's last delivery 2014 was, yet again, an EP that strays a bit off the beaten track. For this last installment, GPM290, Junge Junge has called upon Australian native Kyle Pearce to set some velvety vocals to a toned-down, bittersweet delight of a track.

The ‚Beautiful Girl‘ EP opens with its namesake creation, a thumb piano-laden tune decorated by some seriously smoky singing just waiting to transport you far away. It's followed by a handful of distinct reworkings, by the likes of Tube & Berger who plunge the track underwater and turn it into warm-up material, while Audiofly takes on a dub remix and spins the song on its head to give it a new psychedelic identity. Meanwhile, Blond:ish throws it into darker terrain only to have the ‚Beautiful Girl‘ lifted up by Junge Junge once again thanks to a slightly different version that turns it into danceable AM epic by way of some wisely-placed kicks and claps. The EP ends on this sweetest of high notes, putting a neat, shiny bow on this.

HVOB have only just released their impressive debut album, but the next EP is already on the way: "Always Like This" is almost a tribute to the Vienna-based electronic duo's current wave of success.
Number 1 in the iTunes Dance Charts in Austria and number 3 in Germany, number 3 in the Beatport Deep House Charts – and HVOB's eponymous debut album continues to win the band critical acclaim in a success story which began when the first snippets appeared on Soundcloud a year ago. HVOB's Berlin-based label Stil vor Talent, which is no stranger to success, has been delighted by one of its best selling albums to date.
HVOB's third EP is scheduled for release on April 26 – and the track selection seems to be more than mere coincidence. "Always Like This" is an accurate reflection of the young Vienna electro duo's life right now. Anna Müller and Paul Wallner are "super happy" with the way things are going, busy as they are with all the live appearances in cities like Berlin, Paris and Istanbul, long nights spent in the studio and the formation of new partnerships: alongside Four Artists, Primary Talent, one of the world's major booking agencies, will in future be looking after the interests of HVOB.
"Always Like This" is the third single from the album "HVOB". HVOB's cover of the track by British indie rock band Bombay Bicycle Club mixes warm synth pads with soft beats, while Anna Müller's distinctive voice puts an entirely new spin on the melancholy of the original. Oliver Koletzki and Andhim have both made remixes of HVOB's interpretation of "Always Like This": Oliver Koletzki's version is powerful, emotive and melodic, while Andhim's shows incredible attention to detail and is intensely deep and original.
HVOB, which stands for "Her Voice Over Boys", are Anna Müller and Paul Wallner, who formed the duo in spring 2012. Müller (composition, production, vocals) and Wallner (composition and final production) produce intelligent, sophisticated electronic music, which is both easy to listen or dance to. The Vienna duo, who favour live on-stage performances with the backing of a drummer, will be appearing at the Donaufestival in Krems, Lower Austria, the Lighthouse Festival on the Lanterna peninsula (Porec, Croatia), the Pratersauna in Vienna, the Übel & Gefährlich in Hamburg and the Ninkasi in Lyon. Er war ein vorweihnachtliches Geschenk für seine Eltern und die Kreativabteilung aus Berlin. Der zukünftige DJ und Tätowierer, Rene Deepreen (René Scholz) erblickte am 14. Dezember 1977 im Lichtenberger Kiez das Licht der Welt. Ein wenig war sein beruflicher Weg vorbestimmt, denn die Familie war schon damals sehr künstlerisch veranlagt. Die Leidenschaft für Musik bestimmt bis heute sein Leben und das wird wohl auch für immer so bleiben. Die Schule meisterte Deepreen ohne große Schwierigkeiten, mit einer zweijährigen Episode in Dänemark. Nach der Schule zeigte Deepreen der Welt seine vielfältigen Talente. Langjähriges Vagabundieren durch die Berufslandschaft führte schließlich zur Ergreifung einer soliden Berufsausbildung als Mediengestalter. Schon während des Studiums verdiente er sich sein Geld als Tätowierer und sammelte Erfahrungen in mehreren Studios. Vom Studio bis zum Nachtschwärmen durch die Berliner Clubszene, erzielte sein Musikgespür immer größer werdende Anerkennung. In dieser Zeit lernte er den DJ, Labelbesitzer und Produzenten Alfred Heinrichs kennen, der ihn mit seinem Erfolg in der internationalen Musikszene inspirierte. Mit dem DJ. Duo Hennig und Scholz feierte Deepreen erste Erfolge. Es folgten Auftritte in diversen Clubs und sogar in London durften sie sich zum Besten geben. Für Deepreen ging ein Traum in Erfüllung. Jetzt tanzte er nicht nur in seinen Lieblingsclubs, sondern stand selbst hinterm DJ-Pult und durfte mit seinen Beats die Tanzfläche rocken. Langsam wurde es auch Zeit für ein Soloprojekt, von dem Deepreen schon lange schwärmte. Mit Deep House und Nu Disco füllt Deepreen nunmehr die Herzen seiner Fans. Ein neues Licht in der deutschen Electro-Szene wird in der Zukunft für die Eine oder Andere Überraschung sorgen...wir sind gespannt…..

He was a pre-Christmas gift for his parents and the creative department from Berlin. The future DJ and tattoo artist, Rene Deepreen (René Scholz) was born on December 14, 1977 in Lichtenberg. His career path was a little predetermined, cause the family was already very into arts. The passion for music determines his life until today and that will probably remain forever. The school was finished by Deepreen without much difficulty, also with a two-year episode in Denmark. After school, Deepreen showed the world his talents and is working as a media designer. Already during his studies, he earned his money as a tattoo artist and DJ. During this time he met the DJ, label owner and producer Alfred Heinrichs, who inspired him with his success in the international music scene. With the DJ. Duo Hennig and Scholz celebrated Deepreen first successes. It was followed by appearances in various clubs, even in London they were allowed to play. For Deepreen, a dream came true. Now hes not only dancin in his favorite clubs, but also stood behind the DJ desk himself and was allowed to rock the dance floor with his beats. With Deep House and Nu Disco Deepreen now fills the hearts of his fans. A new light in the German electro scene will cause some surprises in the future ... we are curious ... ..
