Aroi is the exciting new alias of DJ and producer Claudio Ricci, a seasoned artist in the electronic music scene since 1999. With a rich history of releases on esteemed labels such as MoBlack, Compost, Isolate, Connected, Urge To Dance and many more. Claudio Ricci has earned a reputation as a highly respected figure in underground electronic music.

Originating from the late 90s, Claudio’s journey as a DJ has seen him explore a wide range of genres and trends. However, his enduring love for house music—a genre that embodies joy and connection—has remained at the core of his path. Aroi represents a continuation of this ethos, bringing a fresh perspective to his music and sets.

Aroi channels a philosophy of unity and positivity through percussive rhythms, captivating grooves, and melodic hooks. His releases and DJ sets are designed to create uplifting moments on the dance floor, spreading a vibrant and joyful energy. Based in Ibiza, Aroi draws deep inspiration from the island’s unique atmosphere, infusing its spirit into every aspect of his work.

Aroi’s debut release “Angola”, is a collaboration with Alex Twin on the prestigious New York-based label Deeproot Records, led by Francis Mercier. This marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter. With many more releases planned for 2025, Aroi’s journey is just getting started. Stay tuned as this project unfolds, bringing the energy of Afro House and accessible electronic grooves to listeners worldwide.
