Founder and A&R of @lifeanddeath, Manfredi Romano grew up tour-managing punk bands and organizing left-field music events in Italy around the turn of the Millennium. Having completed his studies in computer science at the University of Pisa, Manfredi went on to form DAZE, Italy’s first booking agency solely devoted to electronic music. Drawing on two decades of experience behind the scenes, Romano shifted focus  in 2010, establishing himself as a DJ in his own right. 

As a performer, Tennis valiantly showcases an astute ability to create intimacy in even the vastest of gatherings. As a respected producer, Romano consistently channels his past relationships with post-rock luminaries such as Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Tortoise and Fugazi into intricately-synthesised electronic constellations. Known for his Artist Management capabilities is responsible for breaking artists like Tale of Us, Mind Against and Carlita.

Fine chef and restaurant owner, Tennis splits his time between Paris and Miami, where he enjoys riding motorbikes, collecting vintage action-figures and building upon his vinyl record collection - which now numbers over eleven-thousand strong.

Deepsession was born as a one-night party in January 2006, and it quickly became a leading brand in the italian club culture, putting all its effort to deliver the best to under 30’s, through events, a blog, a record label, merchandise, artist promotion and innovative music.
Nowadays Deepsession puts on various events every month, offering the best dj acts of the globe.
Our website has more than 30.000 hits every month, being one of the most visited underground dance music websites in Italy. Our talent has been – and will always be – being constantly with the new trends through a non-stop research of what’s new and fresh.

Lo spettro musicale e culturale coperto è davvero ampio, infatti in questo marchio si fondono origini strettamente hip hop/funk/reggae, mescolate a tendenze indie/electro/dubstep, che danno vita ad un suono e ad uno show perennemente fresco e travolgente.
