It's almost mid May, almost June and just now I start feeling that spring is here. Birds singing, plant everywhere are flowering, people are outside, wearing their favourite T.

And yet... spring... it's unpredictable.

One minute the sun shines bright above you, the next the sky is gloomy and you wished you had protected that very same favourite T with a jacket.

And yet...spring... weather gets better as fast, if not faster, and your happy mood is right back where you left it.

ederlezi - as a name, Ederlezi comes from the Turkish word Hidirellez. It is the name given to the early spring holidays. It is made from the names of two prophets, Hizir and Ilyas. Hizir is the protector of plants and poor people, while Ilyas is the protector of animals and waters. The legend says that they were friends and they drank the Water of Immortality. Then they swore to see each other on the night of every 5th May in order to give life back to nature.
