Cinematique Visions 116 - David Body

Willkommen auf dem bezaubernden "Acker" zwischen Bensheim und Heppenheim, einem Ort voller Magie und Musik. 
Am Freitag, den 8. September 2023, hat Matthias Lumpy Vollrath die Decks übernommen und eine unvergessliche Nacht voller pulsierender Beats und mitreißender Melodien geschaffen.

Diese Nacht war mehr als nur eine musikalische Reise – sie war eine Hommage an die langjährige Freundschaft zwischen ihm und OKT, der den Acker in liebevoller Obhut kultiviert. Sie verbindet eine tiefe Freundschaft, und diese Nacht war ein weiteres Mal, ein beiderseitiges Dankeschön für all die gemeinsame Zeit.

Matthias Lumpy Vollrath, der Künstler hinter den Beats, ist bekannt für seine einzigartige Fähigkeit, Musik und Emotionen in Einklang zu bringen. Sein Set führte uns durch Höhen und Tiefen, brachte uns zum Tanzen und ließ uns in Momenten der Stille versinken. Eine musikalische Reise, die noch lange in unseren Herzen nachhallen wird.

Ein besonderer Dank auch dem ultimativen Tänzer „Sepp“ aus Erfurt, der die Nacht und besonders den Morgen mit seiner unglaublichen Energie und tänzerischen Künsten bereichert hat. 
Diese Nacht war nicht nur ein Event – sie war eine Gemeinschaftsfeier, eine Feier der Musik und der Freundschaft.

Dank an alle, die Teil dieser magischen Nacht waren. Möge diese Aufnahme noch viele weitere Nächte erhellen und uns auf Reisen durch die Welt der Klänge mitnehmen.

Jersey Mix 2023

Recording of my opening set on Feb 7th 2024 at Garry Klein x Rote Sonne from 22-1 o' clocko. Started slow & mellow and pushed soft throttle around the 1 hour mark as the dancefloor was gradually filling up. From there on: euphoric spaced out & psychedelic bits to reach early frenzy states just as the drag show was around the corner. One of my favs so far, hope you enjoy too! :^)

Seit Caren Callas 2004 der Liebe wegen nach Berlin gezogen ist, war sie in ganz unterschiedlichen Rollen im Nachtleben aktiv: sie hat große Festivals organisiert, als Bookerin im kleinen aber feinen Club Farbfernseher gearbeitet, und natürlich viel getanzt. Ihr House-Sound kann sowohl deep als auch techy daherkommen.

Since Caren Callas moved to Berlin for love in 2004, she has been active in the nightlife in very different roles: she has organized large festivals, worked as a booker in the small but fine club Farb Fernsehen, and of course danced a lot. Their house sound can be both deep and techy.

Born in 1986, lulled by the 80s tones, David Body began his little DJ career with italo disco influences in 2007.
He then surfed the wave of nu-disco with projects like Pleasure Machines and La Disco Mafia before starting a solo carrier in 2014.
Resident DJ of the big club Le Cadran in Liege, he has the chance to share the desk with the biggest names : Miss Kittin, Booka Shade, Etienne de Crecy, Mr Oizo, Jennifer Cardini, Yuksek, The Magician, Charlotte de White...
His ears are now ready to compose their own sounds, always with these very synthesized 80s italo vibes.
Very influenced by artists such as Tensnake, Ten Ven or The Swiss, he launched his discography in 2020 with the Belgian label Kadett Musik.
Other releases followed on Endless Music, Ripe Pear Records, Mélopée Records, Full Flight Records, Discoscuro Factory Records...
And he does not intend to stop there ...
