Thoughts can be tricky at times... Let's ask our questions: where do thoughts come from? Why do I think the way I do? Who or what made me think this or that? If you're stumped you ain't alone. And that's perfectly okay. It can be the most challenging thing to understand ourselves at times and another challenge to deal with the way our minds work on an everyday basis. All I can say is what I've learned investigating myself, and that is that thoughts have too many origin places, they sometimes seem to take over our reality, they can be useful, harmful, absurd, random, comforting and fucking terrifying. They are just that complicated and ruminating on it too much might not be the best often times. So some of those thoughts you have every right to let go and let them be those trains that pass by in the distance but don't pay attention to. Collectively I can say that that's how we evolved... we find it more and more difficult to stay in the present moment, to stay with our bodies that anchor us in the here and now. Individually speaking: we have unique "locomotives" or motives. How some thoughts can be traced back to your belief system. The mind is grand, the world is vast, the present is infinite. A thought is half a grain of sand. It's nothing unless you make it something. It's private unless you give away the key. Because you are the creator of your inner and outer reality. Think loving thoughts and see the love unfold. Don't forget how powerful you are: mind, body and spirit.
