C_hb was born out of a conviction never to be common.
A DJ/Producer that has crafted a very unique sound, with an early passion for House music that stems from growing up in the Johannesburg underground club scene during the mid 2000’s .
Being involved in the industry one way or another for the past 11 years and also having recently established the Slow Sessions Podcast, a deep electronic music curation of some of the best selectors and producers from S.A and abroad, he now aims to keep pushing his love for music into the local scene and looks forward to sharing his interpretation of music.

Mr. Deluxe has a musical journey dating back to 2003, he has showcased across the Pretoria club scene, dabbled in Johannesburg and as far reaching the dance-floors across the country in Botswana and Swaziland respectively.

Mr. Deluxe admits to his obsession with Deep House Music. His style is characterized by bouncy dub, deep house groove, and pulsating minimal and deep house tech. His sets are curated to transcend his audience into a state of absolute euphoria. Signed to Do It Now Recordings and affiliated with Deep Stitched, Mr. Deluxe has released two compilation offerings – Tailored for the Soul Vol. I & Vol. II – both of which were favorably received by his peers and enthusiasts of deep, soulful house music.

Mr. Deluxe intends to grow his following tenfold across the continent and internationally. Ultimately, the goal is to contribute positively to the ever-evolving and multifaceted deep house landscape.

Over the years, he has supported such artists as: Damian Lazarus,

He made his debut as a producer in the UK on the Default Position label. 
He has published in Suprematic, MixCult, Otake, Crossfade Sounds from Sound Avenue or Brise.

He has published in the USA in the Proton sublabel Particles. In 2021 he has started with his Vidno Airlines Records where you can hear
musical flights. He has recently established cooperation
with the deep scene in South Africa which he is currently fascinated with. His sets are known for building deep sounds and also well-thought-out selection.
