South East London-based producer Clark Street Dubs makes a welcome return to Piston Recordings with the fantastic ‘Euphoria’, which follows his last effort here - Who Dis? Although a fresh face on the scene, CSD has already made waves with a string of releases over the past few years, earning spots on labels like PL7, Gentlemen's Groove Records, Bumpin Dubz, and Bumpin Underground Records. His love for house music, along with influences from Lo-Fi and dub, ensures his sound is a perfect match for Piston’s vibe.

‘Euphoria’ gets us underway with a pacey number oozing hypnotic energy, driven by an array of mesmerizing sounds and a deep, droning bassline that anchors the groove. Tribal drums bring a raw, organic rhythm, while scattered spoken vocal shots add an enigmatic touch. Infectious musical loops intertwine throughout, creating a captivating sense of repetition and flow that pulls us deeper into the rhythm. Vibrant and immersive, perfect for late-night dancefloors. Rounding out the release, the moody ‘Just Be’ sets a shadowy tone with punchy kick drums driving the rhythm, complemented by crisp, rhythmic hi-hats and shuffling percussions that add a dynamic groove. Eerie atmospherics create a haunting backdrop, while grainy acid-tinged phrases and a plucky infectious bassline bring texture and energy.
