For me it was a very interesting and joyful experience to play this set for breidenbach label. Since my music evolved by time into a more progressive and darker style, this was a good opportunity to play happy tunes again. This Podcast is all about grooves embedded in fluffy melodies which progress into a more bass centered minimal sound. Enjoy!

In unserer elften Episode begrüßen wir unsere erste weibliche Darbietung in unserem Podcast mit der Künstlerin Rosan. Rosan (f.k.a. "Winkekatze")  ist in der Techno-Szene im Rhein-Neckar Kreis ein Name, den man gehört haben sollte. Sie hat bereits unter anderem in den lokalen Clubs gespielt wie etwa in der Halle02, Karlstorbahnhof in Heidelberg oder im Gotec in Karlsruhe.

Mit Einflüssen aus der vielfältigen Techno-Szene im Rhein-Neckar-Raum hat Rosan Stück für Stück ihren eigenen Sound aufgebaut. Angefangen mit Disco- und Tech-House hat sie sich mehr und mehr von den dunklen und modularen Sounds des Detroit- und Neo-Rave-Techno beeinflussen lassen, so dass ihre Sets aus abstrakten und perkussionslastigen Rhythmen mit melodischen Elementen bestehen. Ihre neue Heimat München, die über eine sehr starke Underground-Techno-Szene verfügt, versorgt sie mit frischen musikalischen Eindrücken, die stärker von gnadenlosem Hard-Techno geprägt sind. Dies mischt sich mehr und mehr in ihren aktuellen Sound, der immer noch von einer durchgehenden groovigen Baseline begleitet wird. Für Rosan ist das Auflegen nicht nur eine Flucht aus dem langweiligen Alltag, sondern ermöglicht ihr auch, ihrem anderen Beruf, der Softwareentwicklung, kreativen Input zu geben.

This is the recording of my opening set for the very first Schwarz (w/ Headless Horseman, Cloak, Cordier & Jörg Lüttringhaus) at Disco Zwei Mannheim on Oct 5th, 2019.

To introduce our dedicated guests into this very special night, I played a balanced selection of deep, atmospheric, dark and hypnotic Techno tracks – with a lot of them basing on broken beat patterns. It worked out well – and the whole event itself was simply incredible. ⚔️
