Louis Lane is a fresh up-and-coming DJ and Producer born and raised in the UK. With infectious basslines and punchy drums, Louis Lane has crafted a unique sound in his mixing by drawing inspiration from the UK deep tech house scene. His groove driven style of DJing helps him carefully curate flowing mixes that take the listeners on a journey from start to finish.

Beginning his musical journey during the pandemic, Louis Lane found his sound and refined his skills as a bedroom DJ and has since progressed on to play regular club nights at venues all along the south coast, bringing the groove and the vibes wherever he goes.

This weeks Guest Mix for DTLA Radio Friend & Family comes from Cas.

Cas is a Washington, DC Metro area native with a passion for house music. From the rave hay-days of the late 1990's through the rise of EDM, Cas has stayed true to the house music genre. He has performed in clubs all over the United States, most notably, up and down the east coast. The golden era of the 2000 house scene solidified his love of up-tempo, funky house music with a splash of disco, and techy elements. In 2023 he began producing the music he loves and in only a few short months has half a dozen releases with many more slated for release later this year. He's excited and ready for the opportunity to pay it back to the house music scene which he was welcomed in as well as found a home.
