Deep Therapy is a peak time techno label with a style that blends thundering percussion with intense synth riffs, and the new release features two tracks by Karim Alkhayat who has collaborated separately with Danny Wabbit plus Mesbah Al Sakka.

Dubai based, Karim Alkhayat makes is return back on Deep Therapy having last featured on the label in 2019, and his pounding tracks have also been released via other trend setting labels such as The YellowHeads’ Reload Black Label.

Danny Wabbit is a Turkish producer and regular collaborator with Karim Alkhayat. Danny has also released solo tracks on high-flying techno labels like Phobos and Ramon Tapia's Say What? imprint.

Mesbah Al Sakka is a Dutch producer who has previously worked with Karim Alkhayat for a release on White Line Music, but has also released many solo tracks on the same label.

The release opens with “Judas” made by Karim Alkhayat and Danny Wabbit, which blends sinister melodies plus stabbing pads with dark atmospherics and rolling percussion. “Higher Dimension” is the collaboration with Mesbah Al Sakka plus Karim Alkhayat, and it’s a much deeper cut with hypnotic synths and melodic groove layered over tough percussion.

StoKed returns on Deep Therapy with a 2-tracker heavy hitter EP 'Deeper Passion' including a superb remix by Irish duo Loco & Jam who are best known for their works on labels like Drumcode and Tronic to name a few.

'Deeper Passion' opens the release with pitched tom drums, fizzing hi-hats and a pounding kick drum at the heart of its full throttle groove. Throwing in a healthy dollop of acid and some twisted vocals, it has all the ingredients needed to set the dance floor alight in a frenzy of peak time excitement.

Loco & Jam take a stripped back approach to their remix of 'Deeper Passion' that focuses on the original's twisted vocal. Adding additional atmospherics and other hypnotic elements it's still got the solid foundation needed to rock the dance floor, but does it in a more understated way than the ecstasy of the in your face original.

Closing the release is the gritty groove of the second original titled 'The People' taking its name from the vocal sample. Slowly ramping up the tension with a series of drops that draw focus to the hard-hitting bottom end and kick drum, the track hits its peak with the euphoria introduced in the main break that morphs to become sinister and more intense as things unfold.

Stoked - Deeper Passion EP [26.06.2020]

Deep Therapy's new release features remixes from The YellowHeads and Sam WOLFE alongside original tracks by Karim Alkhayat.

Blending thundering percussion with acid stabs and compelling vocals this fast and furious release has an explosive energy tailor made for the dance floor.

'The Last Trip' opens the release with its fluttering synths, rumbling bassline and pounding kick drum. Leading towards an epic breakdown it builds dramatic tension before reaching a crescendo when the percussion slams back in.

Track two is The YellowHeads remix of The Last Trip, which strips back the track to its core elements to focus on the kick drum and dark atmospherics. Building suspense, this sinister version unleashes a ferocious barrage that's set to light up the dance floor with frenzied excitement.

'System Error' is second of the originals, and its swirling, acid synths combine with stabbing synths and crunching claps, while the spiralling lead raises the roof. Something of a tried and tested sound, it's a nice example of something that done well never fails to blow the roof of a nightclub.

Sam WOLFE closes out the release with his remix of System Error, which adds a twisted euphoria to the original with a compelling synth line that adds uplifting atmosphere to the high velocity of the original. It also has a magnificent acid section after the main breakdown, which lifts the momentum up another gear.

Karim Alkhayat - Secrecy [EP]

Deep Therapy Records latest release is from Aran Burn and Rian Wøød who have previously collaborated on Sasha Carassi's Phobiq, Kuda Audio and Steve Mulder's Orange Recordings.

Also working as solo artists, Aran Burn is an Italian artist who has also featured on Naked Lunch, Dolma and Gastspiel Records. Rian Wøød also has roots in Italy, and working in a solo capacity, he has contributed music to Frankyeffe's Riot Recordings amongst others.

Kickstarting proceedings 'The Message' has a pulsating acid-line combined with thrashing percussion and the intimate tones of the namesake vocal. Adding to the EP's brooding atmosphere and building suspense, the urgency of 'Reflection' lifts the ferocity up a gear.

Deep Therapy is a techno label based in Canada, and its new release features remixes from The YellowHeads and Sam WOLFE alongside original tracks by Karim Alkhayat.

Karim Alkhayat is a Syrian artist who along with previous releases on Deep Therapy, has also featured on the likes of Codex, Reload, Orange Recordings and Say What? Currently based in Dubai, he is a regular performer at many of the country's top clubs and festivals.

The YellowHeads had previously worked with Karim Alkhayat when they signed him to their label Reload, but this time, the duo of Spanish techno titans are remixing his music. Regularly located inside Beatport's Top 10 techno tracks, the guys have released music on imprints including Kraftek, Filth on Acid, We Are The Brave, Octopus and Suara.

Therapy Session #008 - Guest: Ilan Kriger

Born  in Istanbul, the passionate Techno-Head, Ferhat Albayrak started DJing professionally in 1996 and took all the steps from radio-waves to clubs, from events to festivals and became an experienced & requested Techno DJ in Turkey, playing alongside of Superstars like Carl Cox, Jeff Mills, Tiësto, Paul Van Dyk, Mauro Picotto, Dave Clarke, Marco Bailey, Christian Varela, Samuel L. Session, Miss Kittin, Max Graham, Benny Benazzi and many others…

But lovely Turkey has never been enough for him and in order to be recognized globally he started the shaping and molding of his own productions in 2006 and tried to share his music overseas.

His music started to be released in 2007 by several labels like Restructured, Advanced and *Cutz, thus taking  the attention of “Mighty” Carl Cox and his first appearance as a producer was on Carl Cox’s “King of Clubs, Six years at Space” Double-CD Compilation, with his (in Mr.Cox ‘s words) wicked track “Let the game begin”. This track has been supported by many Techno stars worldwide, led by Carl Cox, well before release.

It was a milestone for Ferhat and soon he was “Guest DJ of the week” on Carl Cox’s respected international radio show “Global” in June 2007, broadcast on 21 different countries’ radios as well as a huge online following, and taking massive feedback worldwide since the program has been all over the world.

Mr. Cox continued to support Ferhat by featuring his track “Giga Tanz” on his “Ultimate Compilation” released in February 2008 by Ministry of Sound and Universal Music.

Ferhat’s global career has been accelerated by his taking part in world’s biggest dance music festival “Global Gathering UK” in July 2007, alongside the biggest names in the industry. In 2008 he has been invited to “Giant” Love Parade in Dortmund, running  and compiling his own truck team with his friend Max Van Der Rose. The Truck, named “Turkish Delights”, got huge support alongside the 36 different trucks at the Love Parade.

Without any doubt, his biggest gig was in Space Ibiza on August 2009 alongside Carl Cox at the main stage and this set opened  the doors to Ferhat in becoming a global DJ.

In order to spread his sound to more people, Ferhat established his own label; Jeton Records in 2009 with one purpose; imprint quality Techno hits to the space. The label, also the home for his own records and remixes, comes with the mission of being a global home of extraordinary and uncommon records from the créme de la créme artists and from the best of upcoming new breed.

His `break-out` was his Intec Digital Debut, Label of Carl Cox with his Enough Erosion EP on August 2012, following his appearance in Space Ibiza with Carl Cox `The Revolution Recruits` but this time at the famous Covered Terrace.

Ferhat is quite confident about his future global career with his ability to produce “never done before” tracks and his talent in controlling the crowd and giving them what they really want.

Paula Cazenave is one of the most representative Spanish Techno female artists recognized abroad. 
 
Born in San Sebastian (Spain) in 1977, Paula has taken her record case up in the best clubs and festivals around Spain such as Florida 135, Macumba, Barraca, Row 14, Code-Fabrik, Industrial Copera, several editions of Klubbers day festival, Aquasella festival, Techno-Flash festival, Electrosonic festival, 4every1 festival, Dreambeach festival, The end of the world festival and many more events and festivals in Spain.

She has also performed at festivals and clubs in countries abroad such as France, Germany, Brazil, Bulgaria, Holland, England, Slovenia, Italy and even the exotic Indian Ocean islands highlighting the Awakenings Festival 2012 , Awakenings Female Hard Techno Edition 2013 (Amsterdam) and several editions of Eco Festival (Slovenia), among many other clubs and big events abroad.

Paula has shared stage with many international worldwide known artists as Carl Cox, Ben Sims, Paul Mac, Eric Sneo, Adam Beyer, Dave Clarke, Chris Liebing, Jeff Mills, The Advent, Joseph Capriati, Dj Murphy, Oscar Mulero, Pepo, Cristian Varela, Gayle San, Technasia, Dj Rush, Boriqua Tribez, Gaetano Parisio, Felix Kröcher, Chris Liberator, Dave the drummer, Patrik Skoog a.k.a. Also with the ability of playing on 4 decks, Her style can encompass from the groovy Techno to dark and powerful Techno, depending on the event and always adapting to the needs of the crowd. 

We can also see Paula playing Tech-House under the name Paula Kasnav with a couple of releases already ins stores and many more to come in the near future.

Her role as a producer can boast of being one of the few pioneer women of Spain that has been in the Techno scene for almost a decade. From digital records to vinyls, Paula has managed to become Native Instruments Traktor's official DJ in Spain in 2011.

Ukrainian DJ and Producer Spartaque has become a name known for raw quality on the international techno landscape. He’s been at it for many years, but got his first break in 2007 DJing at Ukraine’s Global Gathering festival, and has continued with this festival every year since. He has added other vital performances to his resume by performing at Love Parade, Kazantip, Mayday, and others. Spartaque supplements these performances and maintains the momentum by way of his award-winning Supreme podcast, in addition to numerous guest mixes on other podcasts and radio shows.

Spartaque started out in his teenage years composing and producing dance music, finally realizing as a young adult the lucrative skill of DJing his works. His first piece to release was on a Virus Music album in 2005. A decade later, he now has over 300 released tracks on more than # labels. His arsenal includes both original works and remixes for some of the top artists around the world.

Maintaining balance between industry and artisanship, Spartaque has played a key role in the creation and development of several record labels, IAMT being the most highly regarded in the world of techno music. He has been nominated and awarded for his many achievements in the past decade, proving that ever since his modest start in 2005, he has become an influential artist in the world of techno.

Formed in 2011, they have been quickly gaining pace with their distinctive, groove-driven Techno sound having released on Bitten, Tronic, Toolroom, Deeperfect, 1605 Music Therapy, Natura Viva, Driving Forces, Pornographic, Respekt, Sabotage, Funk’n Deep and their own labels, Jumpstereo Records and Jumpmono Records.

During the past few years their productions have gained huge support from Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Umek, Sam Paganini, 2000 & One, Jay Lumen, Stefano Noferini, Sian, Monika Kruse, Christian Varela & many more.

When it comes to DJing they are no strangers to the scene, having played for some of the most well known brands in the world including Cocoon, Meganite and Global Gathering.

Greek techno maestro Kostas Maskalides has emerged as a master craftsman when it comes to modern dance music production. 

Known for his ability to create chaos on any dance-floor, he has been captivating audiences across Europe by showcasing futuristic cutting-edge electronic music performances that set him apart from anything ordinary. 

It’s in the studio however where the real magic happens and the result of countless hours of work invested to tailor and master his own sound-craft which led him to produce pristine examples of brilliantly executed techno in the form of original production or remix. 
With a background of 20 years experience in the field of sound engineering Kostas began to produce in 2010.
Deeply influenced by the industry’s legendary pioneers such as Gary Beck, Alan Fitzpatrick, Len Faki and Mark Broom (to name a few), Kostas developed his own sonic signature, an extravaganza of obscure atmospherics, solid low end and raw fierce energy evident in his sound.

His productions are constantly featured on every major techno podcast worldwide, played and supported regularly by the industry’s big players such as Joseph Capriati, Sasha Carassi, Umek, Tom Hades, Giorgio Gigli, Mikael Jonasson, Sven Wittekind and many more, 

Kostas is credited in the scene as one of Greece's best techno exports constantly pushing the envelope of innovation and diversity.

Therapy Session #024 - Guest: Byron Gilliam

The Reactivitz can be considered as one of those fast-rising artists whose skills and perseverance allowed him to reach the support of the techno music industry. 

2016 was a significant year for The Reactivitz, particularly because he signed on labels such as Toolroom, Phobiq, Footwork, Transmit, 1605, Bitten, Funk’n Deep to name a few. His sound, characterized by dark atmospheres, loud drums and groovy basslines, has been highlighted by many producers worldwide.

"I just want to create a different kind of techno sound, so that people can recognized me when they listen to a track of mine in a club." 

He had the opportunity to remix and collaborate with artists such as Jay Lumen, Spartaque, D-Unity, Durtysoxxx, Matt Minimal, Skober, Alex Di Stefano and many others. The Reactivitz's sound continues to evolve in order to elevate the underground music movement and becoming a recognized artist worldwide.

After being interested in all sorts of music since a very young age, @IlijaDjokovic soon realized that electronic music was where his heart is truly at.

Ilija started DJing back in 2010 and from that time to his current position as one of the rising individuals on Balkan techno scene, he continued to challenge and innovate his work. Known for his energetic sets made of melodic and euphoric techno, this DJ has a sense to read the crow and deliver exactly what’s needed on the dancefloor.

Ilija is also making music as considered and carefully crafted as his DJ sets with releases on labels like Phobiq, Driving Forces, Funk’n Deep, Renesanz and Tauten. He is doing powerful techno tracks that have a great feedback both by his fans and renowned names such as Adam Beyer, UMEK, Hernan Cattaneo, Fabio Florido, Sam Paganini, Cristian Varela and Mark Knight.

Hailing from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Ignacio Arfeli is one of the youngest rising talents of the techno scene. Receiving an EMBA in Electronic Music two years ago, Ignacio decided to stick with techno for his productions, characterized essentially with a darker vibe, cold atmosphere, and aggressive linear percussions, doing what he does best.

Therapy Session #038 w/ Yousef Farrah & Guests: Highestpoint [Recorded Live @ Circus Montreal]

'Against The Melody' brings his signature sound for the first time to Deep Therapy Records with a two tracker EP accompanied by two remixes that are just as captivating as the originals. First up is 'Bells In The Night', with biting claps, a shuffling bassline, and the rising and falling synth line, moving in and out of the mix brings a disorienting presence, underpinned by a driving, entrancing bell rhythm. 'Invasion' - a lean, mean and tough to the bone piece of techno with a driving, powerful edge. Growling, snarling synths ripping through the groove producing an intense vibe. Dok&Martin and Stoked join in remixing the tracks, adding their own signature vibe to the release, and will likely get as much attention as the originals. This is techno at its best.
