Deep Therapy is a techno label based in Canada, and its new release features remixes from The YellowHeads and Sam WOLFE alongside original tracks by Karim Alkhayat.

Karim Alkhayat is a Syrian artist who along with previous releases on Deep Therapy, has also featured on the likes of Codex, Reload, Orange Recordings and Say What? Currently based in Dubai, he is a regular performer at many of the country's top clubs and festivals.

The YellowHeads had previously worked with Karim Alkhayat when they signed him to their label Reload, but this time, the duo of Spanish techno titans are remixing his music. Regularly located inside Beatport's Top 10 techno tracks, the guys have released music on imprints including Kraftek, Filth on Acid, We Are The Brave, Octopus and Suara.

"The Last Trip" opens the release with its fluttering synths, rumbling bassline and pounding kick drum. Leading towards an epic breakdown it builds dramatic tension before reaching a crescendo when the percussion slams back in.

Track two is The YellowHeads remix of The Last Trip, which strips back the track to its core elements to focus on the kick drum and dark atmospherics. Building suspense, this sinister version unleashes a ferocious barrage that's set to light up the dance floor with frenzied excitement.

Emerging from the Toronto underground, Weska's passion for the electronic music scene first began with a pair of newmark TT500s and a two channel mixer. Years later, he found his way into the studio. Now having recently been supported by the likes of Dosem, Bart Skils, and the Octopus and Drumcode families, he seems to be fulfilling his childhood dreams, yet the journey has just begun.

Melodic yet at times dark, his vision within the studio has consistently translated into distinct and commanding tracks. Embodying his energetic spirit, his productions land on the dance-floor with immense vitality. Currently building a strong fan-base both local and abroad, Toronto clubs have presented Weska with a platform to breach the international music scene. CODA, Maison, Red, and Hoxton are but a few of the venues that have housed the young producer. With big things in the works and an inexhaustible passion for music, the future looks bright for the rising artist.
