And now, whenever I listen to these tracks, I will ALWAYS hear their heartbeats in the rhythm of the beat in each track.  It is my hope that when the war is over the sovereign country of Ukraine will emerge even stronger and all the better for it. Mr. Putin has made a very grave error in attacking this country. Not only has he succeeded in bringing the rest of Europe closer together in solidarity, but by putting Ukraine into the forge of war, he has tempered it. And when it emerges from the fire, it will be even stronger, sharper, and more beautiful than ever. 😎

PS: Will there be a digital release, as well when the LP ships? Just curious, because I am so anxious to hear it! I almost can't wait for the LP to arrive! 🤪

It took 6 months since flatmates Kabal & ODM managed to do some track together. Regarding the fact that both of them share same crib and have their rooms packed with gear, that is pretty slowpoke result. But when this finally happened, the feeling of everlasting bliss filled their household in Prague. Acidish techno joint has it all: psychedelic overtones, no bullshit, in your face rhythm and loads of love. For your purest personal enjoyment, here it comes.

ODM & Kabal - User Acceptance Testing

The release of a debut album should be something to celebrate. But how would unbridled cheer be possible when your home country is invaded and uncertainty is the only consistent factor in your life?

Still, despite this troublesome period, marked by great anxiety and grave concern, Ukraine native Lostlojic releases his first LP, Мамай (pronounced ‘Mamay’), on our TECH-UM label. The title is derived from the legendary Cossack folk hero of the same name, who symbolizes the strength, freedom and fidelity of the Ukrainian people.
Its ten compositions transform and hypnotize the listener, or shoot a sudden jolt of electricity through their bodies. ‘Rosebud’, for instance, takes its name from – and features a sample of – Orson Welles’ 1941 landmark film Citizen Kane and is more than just pleasing to the ear; it’s a state of mind. The Ukrainian wunderkind knows how to play upon your aural perception like no other!
Many of its pieces are permeated with repeating phrases, which help you lull into the perfect mental state in which to fully grasp and enjoy this revolutionary record.
The album’s atmosphere seems at times to be grim, then mysterious, even alternately welcoming or hinting at hope and desire and in some instances convey all of these sensations at once. Which is, of course, quite fitting for the trying times we find ourselves in right now. It’s a major factor why this stunning debut necessitates repeated listening!
A special edition of Mamay will be released, sporting a cover design that features the Ukrainian flag. 

All profits from this LP will be contributed to Lostlojic’s home country in this time of great need!

Andy Toth casts a long shadow in the Detroit scene. From being co-founder of the Detroit Grand Pubahs to working as an engineer and mixer, he’s worked on so many records that you know but in his egoless way, didn’t know he was part of. Being the co-author of “Sandwiches” took him around the world, but more importantly it was the hold music for Mudgie’s, a legendary Detroit Deli run by another long standing denizen of the Detroit underground, Greg Mudge. Greg Mudge was a true pillar of our techno community in Detroit, from showing us the venue for the first leaky roof No Way Back, to throwing his own events and supporting great people. One of those people was Andy Toth, who he was constantly pressuring to release his music, and this became a major theme of Greg Mudge’s memorial.  When Greg suddenly passed last September, some friends came in to DJ his memorial like Derek Plaslaiko. When it was Andy Toth’s turn he played only his own productions and we were all just so blown away. Mudgie was always asking Andy “what’s up with those tracks?” And this record is the answer,  a testament to that thought, and to the deeply layered and detailed work of Andy Toth. Andy has created a uniquely dense Detroit Sci Fi trip through sound, with elements of acid, electro, techno that result in an advanced and mature adventure in sound, reflecting his roots in the Detroit scene, but pushing it into new hypnotic futures, to boldly go where no one has gone before.

The ninth release on Curtis Electronix catalogue is from the new collaborative project where @kaelan-suboscrec, @zpakazippo and @cem3340cem3340 join forces under the name of Gravity Waves.
The project is a reflection of the bond developed over a bunch of jam sessions down at the Curtis' basement, where they discovered to orbit similar spaces.
As the title may suggest the sound is deeply rooted in the Detroit side of the electro utopia, with that heady and atmospheric approach.
Satellite LP is a seven tracks Album where they combine moments of sub-aquatic and evocative synth works with dancefloor heavyness excursions which level of composition reveals a clear and undoubted mastery of the machines.
All tracks are recorded and mixed in Bari, South of Italy.

Named after post-punk group Otroci Socializma, the label ran by local DJs and promoters Schrauff & Lavka will showcase records enjoyed both in the club and at home, while re-issuing obscure and timeless records alongside fresh material from producers across the globe. The first instalment welcomes a well-crafted journey and debut collaboration between Christian Kroupa, arriving off his LP on Natural Sciences under his Alleged Witches alias, and Return to Disorder and L.I.E.S. alumnus LCN (aka Le Chocolate Noir), with the two producers serving up their eclectic ‘World’s Connect’ EP - backed by a remix from Mannequin boss Alessandro Adriani.

On the A-side of the vinyl we welcome back w1b0 and the excellent, Ole Mic Odd,  who offer crunchy, dark electronics, perfectly sewn together, producing two future classics, with their bass-heavy electro.

Flip to the B-side and the record ups tempo, with the first track from Larionov & St. Theodore that showcases their slick, punchy electro productions, followed by a spiraling, hypnotic, machine-funk weapon by the brilliant PRZ. The record finishes with Robyrt Hecht's stripped-back electro track with classic Hecht, signature, captivating vocals.

X’trapolis is under threat... 

Word is spreading fast that the powerful and long-feared Agamid lizard known by many as Reptilius has been sighted building a dangerous army on the outskirts of Squamata, exhausting the forests natural resources and leaving previously thriving, culturally significant and beautiful areas decrepit and lifeless in a greedy, capitalistic move to gain control. 

Completely unaware of this, Reptant returns home to X’trapolis after spending 5 years conducting extensive research on Earth’s unique analogue technology. 

With his esteemed Lizard Tech Militia stuck back on Earth, Reptant finds himself alone and must seek help from the infamous Gecko Force if he wishes to succeed in protecting his home. 

The Gecko Force are a lounge of superior prehistoric native Gecko’s rumoured to have been some of the only survivors from the brutal Agamid colonisation of X’trapolis which occurred many generations ago. 

With their power and extensive knowledge of X’trapolis, the planet and all of its delicate and precious lifeforms just might stand a chance...
