Legwork’s Footage Series enlists two up-and-comers from the San Francisco Bay Area. Sepehr is a regular DJ on the SF club and warehouse scene, making waves in early 2018 on the @honeysoundsytem label. Justin lives and works across the bay in Oakland, and can be found at many of the same parties. Bottom line is you’ll be hearing more from these two in the future. Originally released in 1994, ‘Internal Empire’ marks a point of transition for Robert Hood moving on from his previous collaborations within Underground Resistance. Robert Hood advanced uncovering the power of true minimalism. Deep soul through a simplicity that showed how much could be done with so little. The devastating rhythms of this album forge the unmatched spirit of this sound, influencing generations to come.

"25 years ago, I was faced with the challenge of following up on 'Minimal Nation’. I cancelled all my tour dates for that summer, setup my studio in the living room and began to work on 'Internal Empire'.  My intention was to create something distinctively different. 2018 was a big year. After partnering with UN Women on their HeForShe gender equality campaign back in March (which featured a vinyl release and London fundraiser with Peggy Gou), they went on to celebrate their birthday with a record raising awareness for mental health which showcased the production talents of DJ Normal 4, Red Axes and Hodge.

Thirty years after its original release in West Berlin, Tresor Records is glad to present a re-mastered and re-cut edition of TV Victor’s legendary debut album Moondance.
TV Victor, one of Tresor’s spearhead artists since the label’s very first hour, is an alias of Udo Heitfeld. In 1989, TV Victor launched his first solo project under the form of Moondance. He then went on to compose legendary ambient and trance productions including Trance Garden 1-3, Trancecology Chapter 1 , Timeless Deccelaration and The Ways Of The Bodies.
TV Victor collaborated with other artists such as Moritz von Oswald, Thomas Fehlmann, Max Loderbauer, Paul Browse or Tobias Freund, amongst many others.
From the liner notes: “These songs are an invitation to your consciousness. Moondance is the sound of your aware body. The moon is the place where your body realizes consciousness. Floating and dancing is the way people come together. A dierent kind of gravity, a dierent state of mind and electricity between man and woman makes it alive. Find your own moon.”

After more than two decades of behind the scenes collaboration Juan Atkins & Moritz von Oswald present Borderland - their debut collaborative album to be released this summer on Tresor Records.

The album - made up of 8 sequences, which seamlessly blend the styles of both masters - was recorded at the beginning of 2013 over various studio sessions in Berlin and will be released as a series of three 12"s and a CD album. Limited to 500 units, pressed on heavy vinyl and packed in hefty sleeves, the three part vinyl series, gathers all but one title present on the CD format. 

Together with a series of live shows debuted in May at MUTEK festival, with follow-ups in Berlin, Amsterdam, London, Paris - the record gives common voice to two independent yet mutually supporting musical journeys, achieving a singular expression of club-orientated electronic music and the freedom of organic musical experimentation.
