Vuyolwethu “Vee” Dunge is a South African soulful singer, songwriter, and producer. Known for her emotive, husky voice and genre-fluid sound, Vee creates music that explores love, spirituality, and personal experiences.

Originally from Queenstown, Eastern Cape, Vee is now based in Cape Town, Western Cape. She began singing lead at church in her teens and collaborated with local DJs, sparking her passion for music.

In 2014, Vee represented the Eastern Cape on Clash of the Choirs S.A., receiving mentorship from Simphiwe Dana. She also completed a six-month scholarship through Dr Mojo Films and Music’s Amantombazana Project, supported by Berklee College of Music, which enhanced her skills in production, songwriting, and DJing.

In 2022, Vee expanded into theatre, performing as Katie Mannye in a puppetry production about Charlotte Maxeke, demonstrating her versatility as an artist.

She holds a Diploma in Marketing from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology and a Diploma in African Music Performance from the University of Cape Town. Her music spans House, Afro-Jazz, Soul, and Gospel and is available on all major digital platforms.

Black Forest is a duo group of two producers from Cape Town that make Deep House, Deep Tech, Afro Tech, Soulful House, Afro House and Club House.
