Always a pleasure and honor to play for my dutch burners and friends ! They did such a beautiful event full of great vibes, many rooms and crazy decorations and an exquisite international gathering. You feel like Home and you can smell the dust.
Playing downstairs wasn't an easy task but everything at the end worked pretty well, the room was packed and the atmosphere electric! Thanks everyone :D

Merke: Übermäßiger Glühschnapskonsum ist der Bedienung eines Aufnahmegeräts nicht zuträglich. Weil ich an diesem denkwürdigen Abend aber mindestens drölf tollen Menschen versprochen hab, dass es diesmal was wird mit der Aufzeichnung, hab ich die zweite Hälfte meines Sets kurzerhand zu Hause nochmal nachgespielt - jedenfalls, soweit ich mich an die Tracks erinnern konnte... ;-)

It was April, almost exactly one year ago, that the great Timujin entered our Gardens. 

There are not many people in the world that take such presence, as a person or as a performer. Caught by surprise, we fell silent when we were greetly warmly by his being. 

It was a phenomenal performance. Welcomed by the crowd of The Gardens, we worked on a new date for almost a year. 

To celebrate not one but two shows in the near future, April 21 in Istanbul and July 27-29 at The Monastery festival in Germany, we release a very special podcast today.

3 QUESTIONS to MATHIAS KADEN:

Q: Talking about your mix, talking about your roots: What do these tracks mean to you and your development as an artist?

A: These are one of the first kind of House and Dance Music Tracks I listened to when I was young. I have a big collection with all my roots on 7-inch vinyl and this is why I decided to spin my old records live instead of doing a perfect Ableton computer mix. 

Q: You´re touring a lot in South America, you´ve learned the spanish language. Seems that has become your 2nd home? What makes South America so special for you?

A: I have to say that these days South America means a lot to me. The partys , the people, the feeling is always so great that I would love to play every weekend there. A few months ago I started to learn spanish because of the interest and also it's super helpful while I'm traveling inside South America. I´m flying over every 2 months, so I would say it became my second home for sure!

Q: Which future Kaden projects are on the way, what can we expect in 2019?

A: I did plenty of new tracks from very deep to super groovy Techno. I want to open my heart to different kinds of music. Releases coming on Avotre, Pets Recordings and two other labels, but the EP's are not finished yet. I´m working also a lot for my Dub project „Mathimidori“. The next EP will be out on Ornaments with a Rhauder Remix. And a new Remix has just been released for Joel Mull on Distillery Records.
