The thin veneer of calmness at the end of the preceding section disappears as the composition relapses into a psychedelic and dark conflation of disjointed reminiscences and sensations. The evanescent flux of unease, dynamically emphasised by the percussion, gets progressively less articulate and devolves into a distorted landscape of fear and apprehension. The dysphoria eventually ceases, gradually transitioning into an interlude signifying the end of the nightmare.

After a year and a half of suffering, I can finally announce: my debut EP called “Hometown” has been released today.

Deceptively soothing, this part reflects temporary salvation from the pangs of grief and fear that still loom at the back of the consciousness. It is tranquil but ominous, warm and redolent of the happy days of the past, ye demonstrating the inability to escape from the chilling realities of the present. The section offers a reprieve from the unabating onslaught of the internal struggle, which is still evident despite the earnest efforts to leave it behind.

Sekaikei is an ill-defined term, which, in the context of the composition, describes the realisation of the exceeding importance of one’s own internal experiences as opposed to the outside apocalypse. This section may be separated into two parts - the first depicts escapism, while the second communicates the horror of  how far one has fallen. It smolders like embers, giving off the last remnants of heat and light before being snuffed out. The woe that stretches beyond the realm of today's challenge — it is the crippling internal struggle, the tragedy of one.

As another wave of dysphoria passes by, hopelessness settles in. Here and there emerge clusters of familiar sounds from the previous parts, but this time they carry no weight - all will to struggle or rationalise the occurring events is lost. The dreary environment starts to pull one in and engulf them — the cycle shall repeat — back to the intro.
