I Am Fantastic

Music is art. Which makes musicians artists. Like any good artist, musicians practice and make sketches. 
When i was writing the lyrics and vocal melodies for Soluna, I played the basic chords on my piano and recorded it so i could sing along with vocal ideas. This was me sketching - my work in progress - the part the end user - that's you, by the way - isn't supposed to hear. 
I found an idea, expanded on it for the song, and sent my stems away to Sweden.  Soluna was finally released yesterday after a long delay. 
Then i listened back to my sketches as I often do after the final version is released and realised they sounded like a song in themselves. So, with a bit of tweaking and polish here and there, we have Soluna (A Prelude). I hope you enjoy.

Just finished a 9 day vacation, so had more time than usual for recording recently. This is the last track I did during that time. This track includes Sytrus, FLEX, and a Yamaha MODX synth, as well as some vibe inspiration from Songs of Faith and Devotion by Depeche Mode.

DEF CODE is more than a band, it's a sonic statement about the future of electronic music.
