LOFI STEREO is back with its first digital only release ever! The times are a changing and so are we. However what stays the same is the sound you'll find in here again. 

After the re-release of C-ROCK's classic "Funky Dope Trakk" it's a brand new gem that we present this time. Check out the LOFI STEREO debut of Vienna based DJ and nightlife enfant terrible PATRICK TESTOR with his epic "What Happened To Nancy?“ including stunning remixes by REWORK (Playhouse / „You Are So Just Just“) from Stuttgart and from PATRICK TESTOR & PHILIPP LICHTBLAU (who just released his 2nd release for MBF / Traumschallplatten). Labelhead C-ROCK contributed a chicago flavoured house-edit that is a solid floor-weapon for all the fans of his „Funky Dope Trakk“.

The original version of „What happened to Nancy?“ is an epic and emotional tech-house joint based on driving beats and an almost progressive chord programming. REWORK's remix is based on the same elements that C-Rock used in his remix however they create a far deeper version with a very warm and minimal dub feeling. The package starts with PHILIPP LICHTBLAU's & PATRICK TESTOR's remix and the two present a real winner here! Sparkling beats, cool sounds and an arrangement that appears like it is made for this years summer season is waiting to be played on all the cool house floors out there, soon! A cool debut by Testor's new project who has already started working on the follow up soon to follow on this one.

The latest collaboration between Momo Khani and Jay Saccone, is out on 1st of May 2014. This time they’ve worked with Phill Kullnig, formerly part of The Vienna Boys Choir, who adds his deep vocal touch in a blend of soulful, classy nu-disco vibes.

“My dream is for people to love my music as much as I do. Listening to this track gives me feelings of excitement and serenity both at the same time; the kind of song I would love to hear relaxing on the beach,” M. Khani.

“I love how organic and natural this track has come out,. Also, Phil’s vocals give it a very special touch. It’s definitely a summer, feel-good song” J. Saccone.

Momo Khani made his debut in 2013 with the track “Drop Your Love”. After reaching an astonishing number 3 in the itunes electronic charts in Austria and Spain, he is focusing this year on releasing multiple singles and experimenting with cutting-edge sounds and vocals.

Jay Saccone is no new kid on the block, with a hefty musical background and a deep understanding of the dance floor, he has been featured in labels like Om Records, EMI, Warner or Pornographic Recordings. He is currently working on his first album with his new project “TSB” and in full swing with his productions, so expect to hear a lot from this talented producer in the coming months.

Born in Vienna, DEF Mike is active in the electronic music scene for nearly 20 years now and has experienced many trends in this area. Only late he did decide to work behind the turntables. He developed the right feeling for which music to play to get quickly connected to the party crowd, to inspire them with his sound. Consequently bookings at the best known Viennese clubs followed. 
To enrich the Vienna event scene, DEF Mike also started his own event series called ESESENTIAL. The goal is to connect upcoming international, as well as national DJ acts, to a more music interested party crowd. Playing along with well-known DJs, such as Gramophonedzie, Kruse & Nurnberg, Pirupa, Tony Lionni, Uner, Delano Smith, Evren Ulusoy, Sergio Fernandez, Lee Van Dowski, Adam Port and Mark Reeve (to name only a few), supported by local DJ talents, have turned ESSENTIAL into a popular monthly hotspot. By popular gigs in cities like Chicago, Barcelona, London he was noticeable also abroad - highlights were his gigs at the legendary Barceloneta Beach Party with Audiofly & FACT Artists in June 2013 and also his DJ Set at the famous Flying Circus Party at OFF SONAR 2013. Like any DJ who is into music, DEF Mike began producing his own tracks. It can be observed that his sound is influenced by his preference for deep & tech house with vocal elements and groovy baselines.
