Just a simple bedroom DJ showing some of my vibes. I play a little of everything different genres.

Sonic Propaganda is an up-and-coming DJ and Producer from the U.S. His style is somewhat dificult to pinpoint as he is constantly evolving and redefining his sound. He is currently working on several production projects of his own which he plans to release electronically through major digital audio outlets. Although his style may be ambiguous Sonic Propaganda is definitely a name to look out for in the near future.  

Both of my parents were musicians and I have many relatives who were also. I am named after my great-grandmother Irene who was a singer. I  started singing in the church at my private school St. John's as a child. The first song I 
remember learning was “Jesus loves the little children ". I started taking piano lessons on the third grade with my Irish twin sister Patsy but I was more into it than sh was. The following year our grand parents came to our house asking us what we wanted for Christmas. We grew up without a television and so we would think about what we wanted for Christmas to keep us from getting bored at home. My father bought me a purple portable radio with a cassette
 tape player in 2nd grade for making straight A's in school.  I started listening to the radio and recording me and my sister singing with the tape player. In a way, like my sister would say I was "obsessed" with recording.  When Christmas came around I thought long and hard about what I wanted and told our grandparents that I wanted a keyboard and a bike.  Then they asked my sister what she wanted and she said she wanted a keyboard and a bike also. That Christmas my grandparents bought me and my sister matching purple and white bikes and a keyboard. The keyboard had functions to plat all different kinds of beats and instruments. I started using the keyboard to play beats of different songs on the radio and we would make up our own words and record them on taps with the cassette player.  I would bug my sister constantly to sing with me while I made beats while recording them.  She always tells a story about when she was tired of "recording" all the time so one Sunday I woke her up saying we were lat for school. She frantically got up and started getting dressed for school. Then she realized it was Sunday and no school then I told her "I was just kidding, I just wanted to record". She wasn't as into as I was so she quit taking piano lessons and started getting into art which she was very good at. In the 5th grade we both were in the school band she played the flute and I played the clarinet. Our cousin Angelica also was in the band and played the saxophone  Music was always a part of our family so when we were together with our cousins we would practice singing and doing dances to our favorite radio song and perform them for our parents. We had dance competitions and talent shows all of the time. In the 7th grade we started having choir as an option for an elective class. I was very shy and I would walk slowly by the choir class and listen to the other singers hoping one day I could try out. I finally got brave enough in 9th grde to audition for the high school choir. You had to audition in order to be accepted into the class. i always knew I loved to sing but I didn't know if I really could sing or not so I was very nervous.  I auditioned for the symphonic choral by singing the notes played by the piano player in class. I was accepted to the class as a soprano I the highest vocal range for female singers. I started taking voice lessons every week and was in Honors Choir for four years.  l would sing in concerts with the choir and I also started competing in solo and ensemble contests every year. I learned to sing in five languages French, German, Latin and Italian. I went on tour with the choir and had singing recitals at the end of every year. I continued taking singing and guitar lessons after high school by that time I had a guitar and I had been learning how to play it on my own. I started singing and playing guitar at a local coffee shop called the 'Acoustic  Cafe' my friend's mom owned. She played the fiddle and her mom played and they would perform there. On open mic nights I would go and play songs I wrote even though I didn't think I was that good. I have been in many bands since then and I have taken music lessons on and off for the next several years. Then I moved to Austin, Texas after my sister moved there. I joined the songwriters club and continued writing songs and networking. Finally in 2007 after singing for local jazz bands I met an independent Gospel record label called G.T.P. Titanium records. They already had several artists signed on their label including an American Idol winner. The producer and I met and we started talking about music and I told him I was a singer and songwriter. H asked me to help write some songs for the other artists and sing backups on some of their songs. I agreed to do it in exchange for me recording some of my own songs. I recorded a few songs then the label started focusing on film making. I played some small roles in films and my music added to the soundtracks but I wasn't into acting at all so I started pursuing other projects. I started working as a voice lesson teacher for children at Taylor Robinson School of Music. Then I slowly started building up my home studio and joined another band called 2'O Clock famous.  I recorded more songs and we had our C.D. release party in 2010.  they want.  Right after the pandemic ciaos our band Isaac from Seattle became ill and passed away while I was in the process of making arrangements to go see him in the hospital.  I feel music can have healing effects for people and I enjoy making people happy when I get asked to sing for them. I enjoy seeing others succeed and continue to encourage young people who love music to follow their dream. I now own my own record label called Texas Royalty Productions.
