For our eighteenth instalment we’ve invited MIR, a raw talent emerging from the deep techno scene in Rotterdam. 

MIR, meaning 'peace' or 'community,' was the first modular space station to orbit Earth, aimed at developing the technologies necessary for permanent space habitation. Inspired by this, my musical taste gravitates toward a hypnotic, dark, and ambient sound that captures a deep sense of peace and community – a feeling uniquely found on the dance floor."

Some words about the mix:
When I think of hypnosis, I envision myself standing in front of a crystal-clear sound system, free of any obligations. My only focus is on dancing and drifting away to the hypnotic sounds. With this set, I aimed to recreate that experience—a space where listeners can lose themselves in the music, allowing the rhythm to guide them into a deep, immersive trance, free from distractions.
