Nuno Deconto trabalha com uma forte influência da verdadeira cultura clubber e isso foi construído sobre um amor abrangente pela música eletrônica, profundo respeito pelo movimento underground e desde os anos 2000, experiências na cena rave por vários cantos do mundo.

Seus sets, com batidas fortes, hipnóticas e percussivas que caracterizam o estilo Techno, honram essas raízes, ao mesmo tempo em que evidenciam uma versatilidade, sensibilidade e compreensão para fazer as pessoas dançarem, e isso só vem com anos de dedicação e comprometimento em ultrapassar os limites da música. O groove e atmosfera criada em seus sets, é sem dúvida um convite convincente para ficar na pista por horas. 

A história de Nuno começa em Porto Alegre, sua cidade natal, onde mergulhou na cultura rave no inicio dos anos 2000, mas foi quando mudou para Londres que começou a se dedicar em conhecimento e repertório, colecionando discos, adquirindo seus primeiros equipamentos de DJ e produzindo festas na cena underground Londrina.

Nuno ganhou notoriedade como DJ/ Promotor de eventos e começou a trabalhar na organização e curadoria artística de grandes festivais e festas pela Europa, trabalhando com grandes nomes, em destaque Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson, Juan Atkins, Jeff Mills, DVS1, Robert Hood, Richie Hawtin, Mathew Jonson, Minilogue entre outros.

Moldado por essas experiências e com um objetivo de produzir suas próprias leituras da música techno, Nuno se formou como Engenheiro de Áudio e Designer de Som em 2010 em Londres na Islington Music Workshop ministrado pelo engenheiro de áudio Simon Tillbrook, resultando em inúmeras colaborações e tracks exclusivas para suas performances e alguns lançamentos que tiveram suporte de grandes nomes da cena mundial.

Em 2014 criou o evento conceitual Diskonnekt em parceria com Giovanni Calemma. Artistas de Techno escolhidos a dedo com objetivo de resgatar a verdadeira cultura clubber na cena techno londrina, um projeto experimental que oferece uma experiência sociológica, mais do que apenas uma festa, uma verdadeira experiência de vida. Além disso, noites memoráveis com convidados tocando long sets, raros backtobacks e rico ecletismo sonoro. 

Nos últimos anos de Europa, ele viveu na cidade de Berlim, onde conectou com grandes profissionais e artistas, se inserindo de vez na indústria e criando uma ampla rede de contatos importantes, desde grandes gravadoras, estúdios, agências, bookers etc. 

Os interesses de Nuno não se limitaram a ser apenas um DJ ou artista conceitual promovendo uma estética de som que carrega valores do techno underground com os quais ele vivenciou. Em 2017, Nuno fundou a Konnekt Musik de volta ao Brasil, com objetivo de explorar sua visão futurista e conhecimento da música eletrônica com foco nos valores fundamentais da cultura da dance music, através de Artistas, Profissionais, Produção Musical, Tecnologia, Ensino, Serviços de Áudio, Trilhas e Consultoria de Eventos. 

Atualmente Nuno é uma das pessoas mais ativas no país compartilhando suas opiniões sobre os desafios e questões enfrentadas pela comunidade da música eletrônica, principalmente por meio de aulas e workshops sobre arte (música) e entretenimento.

Today marks the start of a new chapter for both Embodiment and its new and thereby fourth resident: Rosillon. This fresh talent, born in Rotterdam, will represent our beautiful city with a vinyl-only podcast made for SALON.

For Rosillon it's all about the ‘little’ details at the right moment. His choice of records is most unique, which in this podcast results in a deep dream accompanied by hard kicks. He aims for tight sound transitions and technical perfection to obtain a beautiful and fluid dynamic.

To give you a little insight we have asked Rosillon why he started his musical journey:

"About two years ago I discovered the beauty of vinyl. Having a physical piece of the music you love, especially in this digital world, arouses a feeling in me that I can’t explain in words. After attending Freddy K’s panel discussion during last ADE, about the importance of keeping ‘the chain’ alive, I knew that besides collecting I wanted to learn how to share the music I love with like-minded people. To achieve this I spend a lot of time practicing the art of DJing with vinyl over the last couple of months and I’m proud to show you what I’ve learned so far."

By acceding as a resident of Embodiment, Rosillon will contribute to broaden our vision and the accompanying sound. Each of our residents guards their own musical identity but at the same time they represent what Embodiment stands for.
