.defaultbox is back with the well done EP „Rise“ by label head Patrick himself under his new alias 10.000 BC. The EP is breaking boundaries and forming connections between ambient and timeless dub techno grooves. The EP opens with „7am“ which is an interplay of nature sounds, warm pads and breakbeats. „2pm“ is a colorful and warm journey into deep space. The EP closes with „3am“ which shows the tension between the organic warmth and uplifting energy of a dance floor track, followed by a heavy and thundery remix by the very talented Portuguese DJ and producer Robert Hoff.

Though natively from Stockholm, HANNAH is one of the latest DJ prospects to emerge from Amsterdam’s fertile underground scene. Cutting her teeth as a rave organiser and DJ in Acta and around Amsterdam, the Stereolube co-founder has more recently become known both on and off the club circuit for meticulously crafted, trance flavoured vinyl sets. 

While her style of play tends to lean towards the melodic, she prefers genre fluidity over rigidity and maintains an ‘anything goes’-philosophy that also spans techno, acid, tribal, early rave and hardcore, as long as it fits the set.

Madu Bittencourt aka ZORA was born in Atibaia - SP and now lives in Florianópolis. The young DJ began to be interested in music at a very early age due to the influence of her family who used to listen to Classic Rock. Later, the São Paulo native discovered sounds such as Industrial and from then on, her research increasingly focused on the Techno universe.

Madu expresses his research through the ZORA project, covering styles such as: Raw Techno, Techno/Rolling Fast Paced, Tool and also moves through Hypnotic and Dub Techno, being his major influences in DJing DVS1 and Alarico, and in production names like TWR72 and Ignez.

Today, ZORA helps fuel the scene with her collective https://soundcloud.com/refuge-series through podcast series and parties. The DJ has performed alongside some important artists such as Adiel and Marcal, and has also been present in line-ups at the D-Edge club.
