On top of his DJ and Live Performance career, he is currently teaching music production at Deep House Academy and has been the label head at Modular Side Music since 2019. His love for the underground sounds, is present in everything he does, so expect a focus on synthetic landscapes, dark and evolving ambiences from his modular rig.

Dirty Epic welcomes aboard @pooja_b_ikigai for our 121st episode of Amplify Series.

Pooja B delivers raw, textured, and boundary-pushing techno that channels an expansive range of her sonic identity. Her recent appearances include Tresor, RSO, Gegen, Genau Turin & KHIDI. She hosts an event series called Majja (it means fun in Marathi, her mother tongue) and fun is for everyone. The event attracts not only the club kids but also the mature raver & sober ones, queers & allies alike, who may want to engage in music, food and art. With Indian roots and based out of Berlin, she has also curated a diaspora-focused Tresor New Faces, to bring forth BIPOC perspectives in electronic music. She constantly aims to carve space with intention. A recent SLAM Radio feature adds to her growing momentum. She also co-hosts The Coping* Club, a radio show on mental health on refuge worldwide Radio. Like her, her music is often political—drawing a global community that supports her with heart and fervour.

Amplify Series 121 - Pooja B

@manuabeca is an Argentinian-born, Berlin-based artist. His sets explore the space between hypnotic techno, deep melodic rhythms, and emotional intensity.

This particular mix was recorded live in Japan, during a reflective trip through Asia. It includes manu's unreleased material produced along the way and captures a moment of emotional clarity. manu abeca’s sound reflects both his sensibility as a producer and his instinct as a selector. The set is shaped by the solitude and movement of the journey.

manu recently released his first vinyl EP Eudaimonia on RAUM Records, which has already been supported by key artists in the scene including MARRØN, Claudio PRC, and Rene Wise, and he is currently working on several upcoming releases.

Selene has a love for hypnotic, atmospheric but raw techno, characterized by dominant trippy rhythms and textured elements. Selene builds musical journeys through extemporizing and sensing the moment on the dancefloor, where she hides these hypnotic yet powerful cycles. The sound that have gained the likes of many key venues in Europe such as Paradigm, RSO.Berlin, Tresor, Tempio del Futuro Perduto Milan, Lofi, Awakenings & Radion, to name a few. Her personal vision is to always reinvent herself as an artist, even when playing the same musical styles and she is always looking for fresh artists to support. As co-founder of RIOT, she aims to widen perspectives by pushing female+ talent in the electronic music scene by organizing raves, radioshows and more events for female+ artists.

We are super excited to present the 142nd episode from @aumrecordings co-founder TENO!

TENO is a DJ and producer currently based in Osaka, who has been making a strong impact on the techno scene in recent years through both his DJ sets and productions. His activities now extend not only throughout Japan but also across Europe, China, and other parts of Asia.

On the international podcast circuit, he was featured as the first artist in the new FOWRE series on Eerste Communie, curated by Marrøn, one of the world’s leading DJs based in the Netherlands. He has also contributed mixes to labels such as Polygonia’s IO Records, Nebuleus, Reverse, Tensione Collective, and CONCEPTUAL VIOLENCE.

As a producer, TENO continues to release music on labels around the globe. Through his own techno label Aum Recordings, he released an EP featuring a remix by Munich-based artist Polygonia. Additionally, he collaborated with world-renowned DJ Wata Igarashi, who contributed a remix for TENO’s first vinyl EP, DONT CRY OVER SPILLED MILK.

In February 2025, TENO launched a second label, Monos, with the aim of expressing his unique artistic identity. The label has already released the Violet EP and Primrose EP, with the Yuugao EP set to follow soon.

Unmistakable are the sonic experiments of Spanish alchemist ORBE; with this fresh release on Token. ORBE’s iconically viscous textures and impactful percussion weasel their way into ‘Ascender’ for a deeper release on Kr!z’s label. Thick, brooding atmospheres drive these tracks into stories of pursuit and escape throughout its four tracks.  

A slick, pulsating low end in ‘Flashback’ stands out as a first impression for an imposing EP. Electric leads zip by for maximum psychosis; he’s known for his uncompromising dissonance and drive. A staple of the Spanish scene, ORBE bites down hard on deep and hypnotic techno to resonate through concrete warehouses. This jagged edge to club music continues through ‘W9Y’ - a more drum-forward cut with noisy transitions and breathable synthwork. Sharper stabs occupy this space as opposed to the track’s predecessor and tension is maintained with a lingering pad in the background. A meditative conclusion for the A side, ORBE quickly shifts his attention in the titletrack ‘Ascender’. Emphasizing tone and tune on the kick, the lead comes with confrontation. Rolling through shifting hats, the producer brings boiling tension through minimal arrangement and the weight of his sound design - a skillset only the most seasoned artists can claim. To close things out, ‘Break Nation’ does just that - cutting off the traditional four/four rhythm and instead presenting itself as a bass stepper. With ORBE’s classic unison packed synths, this dweller presents a whole other perspective on ‘Ascender’. A hybrid of influences and yet still destined for the techno dancefloor, this breath of fresh air serves as deep dive into the subconscious for an eyes-closed experience.

Resident of @resurrection_berlin, @figments - K-H1 is a music project by Berlin-based Sergey Barinov in collaboration with Luke Mombrea. K-H1’s vision is to be boundary-pushing: weaving together pulsating rhythms and striking, tripped-out soundscapes to create a tight, yet distinct techno sound.

His sets mirror his bold production style. Oscillating between dark, vibrant, and cinematic themes underlined by heavy, driving grooves, he invites listeners to embark on a hypnotic journey together.

K-H1’s releases have garnered recognition and support from influential figures, and have graced venues such as Berghain, RSO, Bassiani, and Smolna38. Quickly establishing a unique presence on the techno scene, K-H1 is one to watch.

The journey begins with "Hydra", a dub-infused opener full of tension and atmosphere.
