To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Defected Records presents a series of extra special collaborative releases Together, integrating talent from the label's storied past and the stars of its future as acclaimed producer Cristoph collaborates with Defected House Master Sandy Rivera and vocalist Hayze for 'Changes'. Over the past ten years, Cristoph has risen to become one of dance music's most in demand producers. Championed early in his career by Hot Since 82, to becoming Beatport's #1 progressive house artist in 2023, the Geordie producer has collaborated with the scene's top vocalists at every turn; this incredible rise to success is signposted by standout Defected releases, from 'Slowly Burning' with Jem Cooke in 2015 to 'Time' with AWEN on DFTD in 2023. One of house music's most prolific creators, the soulful house legend and label boss Sandy Rivera has a vocal portfolio envied by many, working with the likes of Mike Dunn, Rae, and Julie McKnight while also continuing to lift new artists with debut features and collabs. Together, with vocalist Hayze, Cristoph updates Sandy's 2005 release 'Changes' nearly 20 years on, creating a deep, brooding atmosphere that sticks long after the pulsating electronic rhythms dissipate.

To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Defected Records presents a series of extra special collaborative releases Together, integrating talent from the label’s storied past and the stars of its future as Joseph Capriati delivers two remixes of Sandy Rivera’s ‘I Can’t Stop’. Originally released via Defected in 2002, ‘I Can’t Stop’ showcased Defected House Master Sandy Rivera’s ear for jackin’ minimal groove, with old school stuttered vocals and keys making for a club record that still receives play to this day. Over two decades later, the globally revered Italian champion Joseph Capriati steps up on remix duties, following another knockout summer in Ibiza with sets for Circoloco at DC-10, Jamie Jones’ Paradise closing party, and his headline show Metamorfosi at Amnesia to name a small few. Capriati delivers two remixes of ‘I Can’t Stop’, the first showcasing the revered producer’s signature deep house sound that fills dancefloors globally, with the second paying homage to the groovin’ sound of Sandy Rivera’s OG, for the heads in the know.

The second appearance in the Together series for the prolific British producer, following his original track ‘Preach’ featuring Ron Carroll, Hot Since 82 now lends his bright sonic to a house staple from Kings of Tomorrow. The 2013 original from the mind of Defected House Master Sandy Rivera saw much love from house heads in the know and club-goers alike, with record collectors’ demands for a vinyl release met by 4 To The Floor in 2019 - featuring an edit from Moodymann. Hot Since 82’s remix of ‘Fall For You’ takes the grooving style of the OG and reimagines it as a spacious club track, retaining much of the vocals from Rivera’s long-time collaborator April Morgan.

Love Attacks founder Alan Dixon joins UK house duo mOat and multi-instrumentalist Tom Diesel on DFTD with ‘Underground’. Coming in hot from his rework of Infinity Ink’s ‘Infinity’ on sister-label Glitterbox, nightlife authority Alan Dixon now collaborates with rising artists of the electronic scene. The UK pairing of producers Tom Staar and Chris Spero, mOat have found a home on Armin Van Buuren’s imprint Armada, recently releasing ‘Heat’ with Tensnake. Previously collaborating with Alan Dixon for ‘Infados’ on Love Attacks Records, mOat have also worked with the hybrid producer and live performer Tom Diesel for ‘Pizza Cat’. Now uniting as one on DFTD, the four electronic artists present ‘Underground’; pulsating synth patterns underpin bright piano accents, with Afro electronic-inspired percussion decorating this deep and brooding club track.
