This exciting duo have cemented a name for themselves as one of the most exciting new dance acts to emerge from the UK in recent years. They have already worked with the scene’s elite including Solardo, Goodboys and most recently, Becky Hill on her brand new single ‘Never Be Alone’.

They amassed almost 30m streams last year alone across key platforms and graced the decks at the legendary Tomorrowland festival last Summer. Their Toolroom debut dropped in 2023, an epic collab called ‘Over’ with Westend, and this brand new single raises the bar even higher.

It sounds like a real progression in sound. Defected is proud to revisit the legendary Todd Edwards catalogue with the fourth instalment of his House Masters Remixes, adding Majestic, Harry Romero, Soul Clap and Jay Robinson to the impeccable collection of house and garage artistry. Released in 2021, Todd’s original compilation demonstrated his approach to experimentation in its full glory; his entirely new sound, born from chopped up samples and vocal clips, helped birth the UK Garage genre while giving the American-born producer major underground credibility. Ever since those pioneering releases in the 90s, Todd has continued to inspire artists around the world, artists like Alex Mills whose glossy vocals feature on the new release spearheading the collection, ‘Wishing I Were Home’. This unreleased original shows Todd’s signature skippy style in full-flow, also receiving a remix from Platinum-selling producer Majestic, whose old skool influences blend with bassline-heavy house for an uplifting take on the new classic. Next up, fellow Defected House Master Harry Romero adds a New Jersey bounce to Todd’s vocoder-heavy ‘I Might Be’, before experimental production duo Soul Clap deliver two club remixes of ‘Winter Behavior’. The Simma Black label boss and chart-topping producer Low Steppa is a firm friend of Defected, headlining many of the label’s events globally including Dubai, Malta, Croatia and Manchester’s The Warehouse Project. Nasser Baker makes his long-awaited return with an original track, the deep and mature house single ‘Notification’ on Defected. California-born and New Jersey-raised, Nasser Baker was discovered as a young artist by influential producer Dennis Ferrer, who signed Baker to his revered Objektivity label.
