INVSB005 Press Release:
NickBee, or Nikolai Bogomolov to his friends, has been the staple diet of discerning drum & bass fans the world over for some time now. Having already released a steady stream of 
deep, dark and disturbingly good tracks, this Ukrainian producer is ready to show just why the likes of Ed Rush & Optical, The Upbeats and Invisible label owners Noisia have been jumping on his sound.

His EP for Invisible offers a range of moods and flavours. The opening expanses of 'Discovery', the first of two tracks produced with fellow-Ukrainian Sunchase, lead you in gently offering muted bass sounds and juddering sound FX. 'Mangup' also features Sunchase, and here the pair take you deep into an epic off-world experience. Chanting vocals are offset with sharp breakbeats and digital crunches of bass that create an inevitable and irresistible tension.

Sides C and D see Nickbee team up with Malk. Firstly the duo deliver the sci-fi horror of 'Alien', a track that's deserving to share the title of Ridley Scott's intensely chilling film of the same name, followed by the hauntingly beautiful 'Cosmos', another perfectly put together piece of drum & bass that sticks two futuristic fingers up at the usual dance floor fodder.

On the A side sees man of the moment Xtrah produce a devastating re-work of Ant TC1's "Mode Destruction"; he's titled this as 'Xtrah's Moondust remix' and its a fitting title as the drop is so powerful it will probably jolt you all the way to the moon or beyond!

"Locked" will feature on the AA of side, a track that presents another studio collab from Survival & Ant TC1 also featuring the glorious vocals of Christina Nicola. The intro builds up a real musical mood then cuts out gradually and switches into some rather intense drums & bass whilst still maintaining a deep musical feel throughout the whole track.
