Today is the culmination of the holiday season and the third in a trilogy of holidays — Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day — centered on spending time with those we love, sharing warm memories and looking hopefully towards the future.

After a turbulent year of contentious politics, protests and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, I think it’s safe to say most people are glad to leave 2020 in the dust. But as we enter 2021, I wanted to share a few thoughts.

There's 'nowhere to go but up' in 2021

I believe in fathers. I believe their role is unique and irreplaceable in society and in the lives of their children.

Fathers come in all shapes, sizes, circumstances, life experience, backgrounds, political views and religious beliefs. But the one thing they have in common is how much they love their children.

Fathers need a spokesman, too. That's why we're here.
