If you've been keeping up to date with what's big in drum 'n' bass, you definitely know the name Kendrick.

Over the last few years, releases on labels like Sweet Tooth Recordings, Low Down Deep, Bites and Serial Killaz have propelled him to the forefront of new gen jump up producers. With monstrous tracks like 'Funky Pigeon' and his 'Energy' Ft Dreps, huge remixes for Majistrate and Logan D and countless more heaters on his resume, Kendrick has become one of the most attention-grabbing prospects in the scene.

And no surprise there. Even though the young Kendrick grew up with very little interest in music – even being banned from school music lessons – his life took a dramatic twist when he first heard the Nu Elementz classic 'Ganja Man' as a teenager. Something clicked and that was that. Kendrick had found the sound that would become his career.

Forging relationships and building his reputation in the DnB heartland of Bristol, the last few years have seen Kendrick progress from local deejay and promoter to headline-level artist. Prestige sets at events like Westfest, Love Saves the Day, RUN and on numerous other main stages have demonstrated that his brand of fierce, energetic jump up has the power to connect with audiences of all sizes. From huge festivals to underground raves, Kendrick's got the selection and the skills to tear the place a new one.

Having found his place among the elite of jump up, the next level is calling for Kendrick. Sure, he's already worked alongside his musical inspirations like Logan D, Majistrate and Nu Elementz, as well as the best of the next generation like Amplify and Dilate but, trust, there's a lot more story to come.

With a sound constantly undergoing evolution and refinement, an ever-more-rammed booking diary, and having inspired a whole new audience of jump up fans, Kendrick's just getting started.

With roots in the underground scene of the 90s, 
DE-FIB has been involved in the Drum & Bass world for over two decades. His journey performing began in 2000 when he secured his first club set, igniting a passion that would see him become involved in the scene every chance he could. In 2003, he relocated to the South West, taking his love for music to the next level by founding X-clusive. This event quickly gained a reputation locally for its electrifying energy. X-clusive ran successfully from 2005 until 2011 when DE-FIB was forced to step back due to heart issues—a twist of fate that inspired his current DJ Name.
However, the call of Drum & Bass was too strong to ignore. After a seven-year hiatus, DE-FIB returned to the decks in 2018, reinvigorated and ready to embrace the genre's evolution. He quickly adapted to the new styles that emerged during his break and wasted no time in re-establishing himself on the scene.
Now, DE-FIB is back with a vengeance, regularly spinning at top events like Next Hype, Major#Bass, Keeping it Drums, and Shifting Levels. His sets are a testament to his resilience, skill, and undying passion for the music that has been the heartbeat of his life. DE-FIB doesn't just play Drum & Bass; he embodies its relentless energy, ensuring that every beat pulses with the same intensity that brought him back to the decks.
