Another song from Definite D's long awaited mixtape Frm Brkdwn2Brkthru "No Reasons" featuring EarthQuake. Me and EarthQuake met on myspace in early 2010! And during that year I began writing the song! And didn't have another verse cause I was going through a mental breakdown so I didn't finish the song. Around 2013 I found EarthQuake on facebook and he remember who I was and I had a beat from Anno Domini and asked if he's tryna make our collab track. I said I already had a song I just need another verse. He said he was down and around 2 months we got the song completed officially! This song was made just almost 2 years ago! And I thought I bring the song out! Shout-Out to the Southern Soldier EarthQuake! "Frm Brkdwn2Brkthru" coming out late October/Early November 2015!

No Reasons(feat. Earthquake)(prod. by Anno Domini Beats)

This track was inspired by real life events. After loosing his mom and his twin at birth, local #DMV artist Webby Woo decided to share his pain and frustration by leaving it in the booth.  Woo sent me the lyrics and the track and I fell in love. 

He didn't quite have the melody for the hook but after going over it a few times and sending him recordings of how I heard it, we we're able to create a great arrangement that was executed soulfully by HMG recording artist, Lyric Bravado. 

Not having the same experience as Woo, it took me a moment to create my verse because I never had the personal experience. I used one of my favorite uncles and my grandmother as the inspiration to create my lyrics...then shortly a month or so after the track was recorded I would find out that I was pregnant and carrying twins that I unfortunately miscarried...listen to the lyrics!

Donnell Robertson (born August 7, 1991) is known by his stage name " Definite D". Donnell started rapping at the age of 12, he is most known for rapping at " Francis Junior High" and "Hyde LPCS" in Washington DC.
