Premiering next on Nerang Recordings is Adrenaline Replenishment by WakeUpNeo. The EP features four tracks that feature glitchy cosmic highs and bass rumbling lows.

The EP opens with “Shoot Your Shot” an electro belter that features WakeUpNeos signature skippy drums and vocal chops reminiscent of artists such as Jensen Interceptor, Mutant Joe among other artists working in the electro sphere.

“Coast2Coast” is a more introspective fare with the use of lofty strings and synth patches akin to the best classic techno of the 90’s and beyond. Coast2Coast is perfect for sunrise and twilight hours of the party.

“MetroSports” turns up the bpm and intensity featuring an endlessly groovy acid bassline and a 4/4 techno kick pattern that just won’t quit. The track effortless blends WakeUpNeos hard dance stylings with cyber inspired synth patches, designed for peak time.

The EP ends with a staple, the bootleg. Britney gets the WakeUpNeo treatment on “In The Club”. Just like this name, the track is made for club dance floors, combining house and techno with WakeUpNeos unique sonic experimentation

Eine wiederkehrende, glitchige Frauenstimme flüstert und stottert als korruptes Datensignal Schlüsselphrasen, die die Themen von Identität und Fehlfunktion in einer zerfallenden digitalen Welt erkunden. Jeder Track ist ein kaputtes Segment, das durch die unheilvolle Geräuschkulisse von Gewitter und statischem Rauschen verbunden wird. STAUB is a project that came to life in Berlin around 2013. It aimed to detach itself from the hype and business from techno. The idea was simply to not announce a lineup and treat everyone the same without separating headliners from the rest. This strictly equalitarian but also very familial and friendly concept allowed to give chances to newcomers on a regular basis and to build a tight-knit community.

As time passed it also became an outlet to release music staying true to these ethos. Everyone is paid the same, doesn’t matter who you are, it’s all about music and respect.

It has somewhat become customary to have a record ready to celebrate its birthday. As STAUB turns seven, STAUB’s fifth installment (STAUB 5 / IRIS007) will be available at „STAUB – 7 YEARS“ Event at :// about blank.
