After a brief hiatus, Off-Switch Audio are back with an EP from Eindhoven based,  Bournemouth born, Swansea raised DJ/producer FKA.SAKA. Already gaining  support from the likes of FFF and Noisia, FKA.SAKA is a definite name to watch  and Off-Switch are honoured to be debuting their first full-length release! 

As a fitting continuum to the deconstructed jungle vibes in Anger, Once Again slows the tempo all the way down to 140 without loosing a single increment of  energy. With a similarly angsty use of distortion and heavy-hitting breakbeat  chops; FKA.SAKA affirms their distinctly powerful sonic identity with this one. 

Finally, with Druid on remix duties, the EP closes off with a slightly-less-angsty  electro-infused flip of Anger. Druid’s zappy electronic percussion slaps through  the sustained remanence of FKA.SAKA’s original composition, laced into a  pleasant backdrop of pads and analogue static FX. In an impressive crescendo,  the track morphs into a robotic 4 x 4 drum pattern bouncing explosively off  donk-i-fied bass hits and shimmering vocal chops. 

The release is topped off with some fitting graphics from 3D artist Ori; as-usual  bringing together the label’s eclectic catalogue of releases with her visually  consistent aesthetics. 

Spanning across multiple genres, styles and tempos, these experimental club  bangers are 100% ready to run at any rave.

Diving deep into the heart of underground sonics, Defrostatica Records, the Leipzig-based beacon of cutting-edge sound, presents a stunning fusion of genres in their latest offering. Since its inception in 2015, the label has boldly navigated the realms of Footwork, Juke, Jungle, and Ghettotech; now embarking on a soulful exploration with the "Waves EP" by powerhouse duo, Arcane & Jon1st.

Scheduled for release on May 3rd, the "Waves EP" marks an evocative journey through the soundscapes of Chicago's Juke and Footwork, juxtaposed with Bristol's signature jungle breakbeat.

Nu Gun on the flipside gets a lot more dubby with it's perfect jungle beat edits and moody chord stabs - all that laid out over a well known vocal sample. It can easily be considered a prime example of Sun People's signature sound which is heavily rooted in Dub, Jungle and Juke/Footwork.

SHERELLE and NAINA launch their highly anticipated label Hooversound with 'BS6'.

Bringing together Bristol based DJ /producer Hyroglifics and Detroit DJ/ producer Sinistarr for an exciting dancefloor-ready EP, ‘BS6’ sees two of the most consistent and exciting names in the underground electronic music scene join forces. 

Having both released on iconic labels in the past (Sinistarr with Exit Records, Hospital, Metalheadsz whilst Hyroglifics with Critical, Astrophonica, 1985 Music - to name a few), the two producers shine in this new collaborative EP which merges together elements of footwork, jungle and techno. 

The EP features two collaborative tracks that stand by two solo tracks from each producer. Electronic pioneer and legend Scratcha DVA brings his GQOM and moody percussion on the official remix.

Bristol's Kiki D cooked up heavy refix of HomeSick's 1800AREYOUSLAPPIN, and when we heard it we knew we had to put it out! Kiki D produces footwork, jungle, and bass-inspired tracks that they describe as 'queer bass music', and their downstairs neighbors describe as 'heavy repetitive subbass tones'.
