Back on that clandestine flex with a record 2 years in the making. Cloak-and-dagger white label manoeuvres - as is unknown - untitled tradition - but, for convenience, we’ll refer to them as mxc.

Having already graced last year’s uu006 EP, the debut proper kicks it with a triple-pronged maelstrom of IDM tendency and cut-throat, gnashing electro. 3 unruly wreckers fuelled on ominous portent, spite and worn samples of Ainsley Harriot tripping on psychedelics.

It’s a mean streak of the fetid and unfettered – no messing, just a trio of malevolent excursions with added texture.

Leeds producer Yilan makes his LOFS debut with a colossal, undeniable two track EP. Baraka Baile deftly collides the signature Baile Funk sound with carefully woven audio snippets of Indonesian chants to create a Baile Anthem that will cause a cataclysmic event when dropped in any club. Negative Orgones carves its own space as a sleek and sexy slammer with a pulsating alien siren coercing you into contemplating a hypothetical universal life force.

Whilst running his own label ‘Earth Movements’, and acquiring ground shattering releases on labels such as Infinite Machine and Grid, Yilan is a revered and universally loved producer for consistently providing unique dance floor tools and ambient cuts. ‘Baraka Baile’ is bubbling on the DJ circuit after being dropped by Mia Koden’s extraordinary set at Draaimolen Festival.

After heartbreak and a stolen hard drive and laptop, a new chapter opens. Amsterdam-based Tsepo returns to Intercept with a powerful two-tracker born from both emotional and material loss. Magic Bells was rediscovered after the theft of his laptop. It was a sketch made alone in a hotel room just days after a heavy breakup, bringing a more personal and emotional twist to Tsepo’s repertoire. On the flip, Phantom Fibre stands as Tsepo’s most polished club track to date, carefully crafted over 18 months and luckily mastered right before the laptop and hard drive theft. Both tracks complement each other perfectly in their percussive and detail driven nature as well as their playful dance with the listeners sense of expectation.
