Knob twister and button masher from Turin, Sickarone’s new 6 track EP titled Rudecat is packed with Dnb heavy hitters and footwork bangers. 
 
Unlike most of the music that is released today, each tune in Rudecat is recorded like a live performance making the journey even more incredible and rewarding. 

Sickarone populates this EP with his signature modular synth breaks and a plethora of old school jungle samples that he finds himself sonically attracted to. 
 
A little fun fact; while recording one of the best takes for a track on the EP, Sickarone’s cat jumped on his MPC inspiring him to name his whole EP and that track “Rudecat”. 

Each track offers its own significant vibe and journey and Sickarone invites you to get lost in them just as he does while he’s performing and recording them!

PREMIERE: Rnbws - Autonomy [Jelly Bean Farm]

Snack Atoms appears as EABE’s latest signing with a bombardment of uptempo electro rollers. The EP is based on live performances in Helsinki’s Kaiku and Leipzig’s Distillery, creating a pleasantly coherent trip through the four tracks.

The title cut sets the pace with a bouncy beat and a driving bassline joined by wistful synths, topped off with a catchy lead as the powerful track picks up to full throttle – like a maglev train gliding through a neon-lit cityscape, raindrops in the window turning quick into colourful traces. The rest expands on the expertly conceived formula, drawing from elements of dub, trance and contemporary bass music.

Not much is known about the protagonist who prefers to travel in the shadows, but the effortless craftmanship and penchant for melody shown here suggest they’ve been lurking in the underground for some time already.

With releases on R&S Records and RAWAX, A-Sim is an emerging artist to watch, heavily influenced by the sound of UK Bass and breakbeat. Death Raw brings a sign of darker things to come from Fly By Night, yet still focusing on the club-based sounds the label revolves around.

We intend to reclaim Marsha P. Johnson and our relationship as BLACK trans people to her life and legacy. It is in our reclaiming of Marsha that we give ourselves permission to reclaim autonomy to our minds, to our bodies, and to our futures.  We were founded both as a response to the murders of BLACK trans women and women of color and how that is connected to our exclusion from social justice issues, namely racial, gender, and reproductive justice, as well as gun violence.
