Label owner Imanol delivers this diverse EP with influences from 90s House, Jazz, Funk, Disco and even a bit of Acid. Side A is packed with top collaborations. Fløste with energetic and emotive vocals in 'Might B OK', Andrés Juli contributing with a funky organic bass for 'Hard Funk' followed by Panko funkier remix of 'Acid n°4'. Side B contains an instrumental version of 'Might B OK' ending with 'Acid n°4 (Original Mix)' ready to rock the dancefloor at 124bpm plus a hard kick that will make you move to the beat.

Defora Records presents the new EP by Goldfisch. He’s a DJ/producer from Brest, France. His musical journey began in 2012, when he first started experimenting with a DAW and playing DJ gigs with the collective TBD. After a season in the UK, he moved to Berlin in 2016, which greatly enriched his style thanks to fortunate encounters and hundreds of hours spent in the city's best clubs. In 2020 he started building his first modular synth refining his style into a subtle mixture of minimal and house, garnished with a hint of disco.

My third EP has arrived. It will come full of expressions that I experienced the past year, the foundation of the sound that I was looking for started to bloom in myself, and with it, an inner freedom that allows me to continue exploring the unlimited universe of music.

Each track represents teachings that I received the past two years. First, Senmati set my musical representation of how I perceive attention. I learned that our capacity to attend makes us humans, therefore we can't just reduce it just to observe what's outside but instead it has an active function, capable of shape itself and transform the world at will.

Then the mental emptiness comes, when the force of concentration goes within and stays long enough to feel it. Suddenly the perception trascends the regular order and Amomati arrives.

The idea of joy while I was making this EP was utterly a combination of emotions, feelings, actions and sounds that raised my energy through synths and a remarkable groove reflected into my passion for music.

We’re glad to announce the fifteenth release coming up on the APDEXTRA catalogue, this time around provided by the Italian Alfonso Bottone aka @wearingshoes. ‘Emotion’, that’s the name of his three track EP, is a solid and cohesive work which shows Alfonso’s musical talent made of simple yet impactful grooves, a rare energy and the elegance of his House Music productions. He was born in the area of Napoli in the late 80's and started producing music when he was working as a flight attendant. When he wears his Wearing Shoes costume his creative process lies in the making of improvised jams, built purposely to enable him to build melodic and rhythmic journeys, his musical trademark that, furthermore, permitted him to release music on numerous record labels. The title track ’Emotion’ starts the EP with a classy and Deep short intro made of Spacey pads, percussions and gentle woodwinds and explodes into a rhythmic frenzy, archetypal of Alfonso’s characteristics as a producer: delicacy, attention to details and massive grooves. ‘Emotion’ flows perfectly from beginning to end without losing its energetic and steady structure, making it the perfect kick-off to the record. ‘What U Doing’, the second track, keeps the pace up with the same level of craft and attention to details while the third tune ‘Understand It’ ends the record in style with a flawlessly programmed beat, the same, recurring, perfect vocal samples and some groovy harmonic chords in the background.
