Defy was formed in August 2007 by two childhood friends Himu and Rezaie who were in the search of a dimension of music which would indulge their musical aspirations. Nahiyan joined them in the hunt and shortly afterwards Tawfique came aboard. This marked the beginning of a musical journey which was later known as DEFY. After many bumps, hiccups, breaks DEFY finally has a stable lineup of four members.
