This album by Captain Dreadbone describes a tragedy.

Across the rim of the galaxy, two brothers walk opposite sides of the law — one bound by duty, the other by desire.
Blood and Stardust follows their trail through five chapters: the hunt through the void, a near-fatal standoff, a return from the brink, the final duel beneath Io’s cold suns, and a quiet reckoning in a cell among the stars.

They found him broken in the dust and flame,
Bleedin’ out, whisperin’ one last name.
Pulse flatlined, then sparked again,
A heartbeat crawlin’ out of sin.

Doctors said, “You won’t walk no more.”
He laughed blood right onto the floor.
Said, “You patch the flesh, I’ll mend the rest—
there’s a ghost I ain’t laid to rest.”

They call me the man who wouldn’t die,
Burned in the dark, still too damn dry.
Stars can fade and suns can fry,
But you can’t kill the will in a lawman’s eye.

Out on the rim, the outlaw sang,
Burned three towns and robbed a gang.
Thought the past was ash and gone,
Didn’t know the law rode on.

News came quiet, like a ghost in smoke,
“Someone shot the Black Comet bloke.”
The outlaw grinned, raised his glass,
“Here’s to the dead that never last.”

Then one night, in a bar off Io,
Neon hummin’, the whiskey low,
A mirror flashed a familiar scar—

He looked up slow, met my eye—
Said, “Guess I’m buyin’ your goodbye.”

No halo here, no heaven’s light,
Just two men meetin’ in endless night.
And somewhere past the neon sky,
Justice walks — and don’t ask why.
