Steven Henry is an Eindhoven based bass clarinetist and composer, with a background in applied physics. He composes for concert bands, films and various ensembles. As a performer he travels between chamber music, pop music and minimal music.
At the moment Steven Henry researches the possibilities for using gestures to control electronics to accompany and morph his acoustical sound.

A Staircase Transfer started somewhere in the mean streets of Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Two former ninja warriors, living in a lonely state of meditation, inhabited the same condominium block. Determined to overcome the terrors the Mekong delta had left plaguing their souls, lost in their own mental state, they each started a Buddhistic hymn.

Hummmmnnn...
It is this humming that resonated trough the desolated staircase connecting their confinements, transferring their souls and starting a process of healing. Now the healing is reversed and the two men, hardened by their pains, spread their restorative canticles, touching the lives of the many.
